R.S. 1:55(B)(1)(a), adds Mardi Gras Day and General Election Day as legal holidays. 1st Judicial District Caddo 2nd Judicial District Bienville, Claiborne and Jackson Annual Mtg of LA State Bar Assn - 1st or 2nd week in June; Opening Ceremony of LA Supreme and Judges Fall Conference - 1st Monday and Tuesday of October; No court held last 2 weeks in Dec. 3rd Judicial District Lincoln and Union The first two (2) full weeks of August in Lincoln and Union Parishes as court recess. 4th Judicial District Morehouse and Ouachita 5th Judicial District Franklin, Richland and West Carroll 6th Judicial District East Carroll, Madison and Tensas
