1 Central New Mexico Community College Associate of Arts in Human Services and New Mexico Highlands University Bachelor of Social Work Transfer Agreement Fall 2015 Summer 2018 Students completing the Associate of Arts in Human Services at Central New Mexico Community College can apply those credits and courses directly toward the Bachelor of Social Work at New Mexico Highlands University. Students that earn the A.A. in Human Services are granted additional transfer benefits to NMHU. NMHU will waive: Physical Education (2crhrs) requirement, English Literature (3crhrs) and Language Other than English (8crhr) requirements. In addition, upon completion of the Junior year in the BSW degree program at NMHU, students will receive the opportunity to apply to the graduate/master of Social Work Advanced Standing program. The Bachelor of Social Work can be completed at NMHU s School of Social Work, Albuquerque Campus. The NMHU Bachelor of Social Work program coursework begins each Fall; thus, students are primarily admitted for Fall semester (with exceptions).
