Experience the Proven Power of Dynavision!

What is the D2? The D2 Is A Cutting-Edge, FDA Cleared, High Performance Evaluation And Training Device That Records Response To Visual, Gross Motor And Neuro-Cognitive Tasks. The light board contains 64 raised light switches arranged in 5 rings. These light up in two color options and beep (optional) when pressed, allowing the user to see the light, feel the button and hear the sound. The user trains peripheral awareness, eye-hand coordination and visual reaction time. While reacting to the lights, the eyes focus in the middle of the light board at the tachistoscope (T-Scope). The T-Scope is the key to vision training success. The incorporation of gross physical movements, peripheral visual field and cognitive challenge set the D2 apart from any other device. The sophisticated software provides a great vehicle for tracking improvement. Because of the full size of its visual field, peripheral awareness is also challenged and trained to higher levels. The Dynavision D2 has emerged as a standard device in Neuro Rehabilitation. The incorporation of physical movement and cognitive processing has made it a natural fit for Concussion Management.

Sports Dynavision Products Are Developed With The Athlete In Mind. Having the technological edge on your competition can mean the difference between winning and losing! Gain a competitive edge with the latest performance enhancement technology. Our products are scientifically proven to take athletic performance to the next level. Will Improve Eye-hand Coordination Peripheral Awareness Cognitive Processing Ability Visual Reaction Time Decision Making under Stress Speed and Span of Recognition Economy of Motion Training Balance Concussion Management The combined visual, cognitive and gross motor elements of the D2 have made it a useful tool in concussion management. From athletic facilities to rehab centers, the D2 helps athletes and injured alike achieve their goals. Baseline testing Evaluation Rehabilitation Return to Play Medical Rehabilitation and TBI The D2 is established as a widely used medical device of choice for the visual, neuro, driver retraining and physical rehabilitation of patients following stroke, TBI and upper extremity injury. Currently there are over 800 devices in rehabilitation hospitals across the United States. Injury Prevention Whether working in a hazardous environment or playing sports, Dynavision cutting-edge products improve safety. Recent studies have shown that improved peripheral visual awareness and faster reaction time may result in fewer injuries. The Dynavision D2 trains and improves field of vision and reaction time. By doing so, a user can better process information and react to it faster. Tactical In the Military World, Elite Forces Constantly Strive to be Faster, Smarter, Stronger. One of the most important skills in the field of tactical work is the ability to dynamically read and react to a variety of situations while under extreme levels of stress. The D2 evaluates, measures, records and improves dynamic visual-motor skills. The D2 trains out Tunnel Vision, replacing it with improved Peripheral and Situational Awareness under stress.

Testimonials Missy Meharg» University of Maryland Womens Field Hockey Coach, (8x) NCAA National Champions Some of the girls started using the D2 mid-season directly before games to help mentally prepare. I saw a visual difference in the readiness and sharpness of their passing and receiving skills after using the D2. Brian Cleary» University of Cincinnati, Head Baseball Coach The D2 vision training is challenging, fun, user-friendly and competitive and the customizable programming keeps the players engaged and motivated. At the end of the 2011 season, I asked our hitters about whether or not we should continue with the vision training. The answer from them was an overwhelming yes. The D2 will continue to be part of our program, and our plan is to get our pitchers on the device next. Dr. Joseph Clark» Professor of Neurology and Athletic Trainer, University of Cincinnati Based on results we ve attained through our study at the University of Cincinnati, we believe the D2 can help us identify players who might not perform as well on game day, because of various distracting elements. And with continued, consistent training and testing, the D2 can actually be used to train athletes to focus and ultimately perform better on the field. Chris Lytle» UFC Fighter I had already been fighting in UFC for a long time when I contacted Jim Leo at PitFit Training. I knew he was doing some things no one else was doing, so I paid a visit. He found some things I needed work on, and my reaction and vision response were at the top of the list. I m blown away how much improvement I have had since using the D2. Dr. Jim Ellis» Athletics Team Optometrist, University of Cincinnati We feel the D2 takes the subjectivity out of the equation when it comes to grading the mtbi. It gives us a more valid score for return to play. Our pull from play is very simple; any head trauma and the player is out for the day until further assessment. David DaSilva» Head Vision Trainer, IMG Performance Institute The D2 is definitely a step forward. There is so much more you can do with it. We had to be more creative with our old equipment to make it challenging for the athletes. The D2 forces you to be precise it s all about accuracy and it is interesting to see how our athletes improve after using all the features and competitive-aspects of the unit. Robert Gringmuth» Sports and Rehab Specialist, (OSA) Sports Injury & Rehabilitation Centre There s an important cognitive element to the Dynavision technology. Users have to quickly process the difference between green and red lights and only hit the red ones. We ve found that the Dynavision is an excellent basemarker for concussion testing, because it detects and tracks cognitive and neurological changes with physical scores. Carl Edwards» NASCAR Racer What Carl Edwards said about the Dynavision D2 TM testing during an ESPN: Sport Science segment That s the kind of environment that we race in. There is a lot of noise; you are focusing on different things. You are having to verbalize something a lot of times about the car. So that s actually a really good test.

Why D2? The Dynavision D2 was invented by a professional athlete in consultation with ophthalmologists and other experts. Over the last 25 years, the Dynavision D2 has evolved to become an essential tool for high performance vision training and neuro-rehabilitation. Size and Shape of Light Board Most vision training devices are rectangular in shape, as opposed to the D2 s square light board. A rectangular shaped working area limits the ability to train the lower peripheral field, a vital part of the user s field of vision. Day-to-day tasks require use of the entire peripheral visual field. While playing basketball, the point guard needs to use lower peripheral vision to maintain control of the ball while seeing the full court. Similarly, an elderly person needs lower peripheral visual training to prevent trips and falls. With its large 16 square foot light board, the D2 prompts the use of central focal vision while training the whole peripheral visual field. Illuminated Raised Light Switches Versus Flat Screen As opposed to flat screen technologies that present a two-dimensional target, the Dynavision D2 presents a three-dimensional target, allowing for a more realistic scenario. Unlike touching a target on screen with one finger, which can be difficult and unrealistic, the Dynavision D2 allows the user to be more active, hitting lights a number of ways to prepare for an event or situation. While using the D2, a boxer can train with sports specific hand positioning, like a fist, creating a better connection between vision training and their sport. Tachistoscope The tachistoscope (T-Scope) is a screen in the center of the D2. It is a defining factor that sets the D2 apart from all competitors. The T-Scope is programmable to display an array of information (numbers, letters, words, scrolling text, math and icons) for a selected amount of time. The T-Scope is designed to have the user perform cognitive tasks such as calling out flashing numbers in the central focal area while challenging peripheral vision. The D2 gradually increases the stress load by incrementally increasing the information presented to the user and/or the speed of the flashed information. Thus, the user is always challenged to reach higher cognitive processing levels. Results are measured by reaction time in quadrants or by inner to outer rings, to track the history and make observations about an individual s progress and allow for on-going training in defined weaker areas. Upon completion of the brief learning curve, progress in these areas is demonstrated in the improving scores that are tracked and displayed. The software graphically demonstrates that on-going training with the D2, including cognitive stimulation combined with gross motor physical movements, enhances peripheral visual awareness through increasing levels of stress.
