Registration begins May 19. Classes fill quickly and others may cancel due to low enrollment. What happens if my class is cancelled? All fees are automatically refunded if a class is cancelled. Avoid disappointment by registering early and inviting a friend (or five) to register with you. What if I want a refund? When you register for a class, you agree to pay the fee whether or not you attend. If you decide to drop a class, you must do so within the designated refund period (usually before the class meets a second time). If the college cancels a class, a refund will be issued automatically. Is a parking permit required? Please arrive early to the first class. If a parking permit is required, your instructor will provide it then. Your first outing on the Willamette River is at Rock Island in West Linn, and the second outing will be on the Columbia River near Skamokawa. Kayak and guide are provided; please register early. Students receive 34 hours in the classroom and 12 hours behind the wheel. The program is ODOT approved. The program serves students ages 15 through adult. To register students will need a photocopy of the front of their permit or license; a completed enrollment form, and payment. Pre-registration is required. Eligible students (students with only a valid permit) who pass our program will no longer have to take the DMV drive test. For information and registration, call Cost: $280 for students under the age of 18 with an Oregon instructional permit $500 for adult students with an Oregon instructional permit or students with a license Low/No Income Subsidy Program: There is a $75 State subsidy program for students that qualify for the Free and Reduced lunch program, SNAP or TANF programs. (This benefit applies only to students under 18 years of age and without a license.) $205 for qualifying students with the low/no income subsidy program. 17 17 Chemeketa Community Education HEALTHCARE CAREERS Basic Nurse Assistant Training Program Prepare to become a Certified Nurse Assistant in the Oregon State Board of Nursing training program. The course consists of 80 hours of on-campus classroom training and 75 hours of clinical experience in a long-term care facility. Successful completion of the course qualifies you to take the Nurse Assistant Competency Evaluation test for state cerfification as a Nurse Assistant. TEAM OREGON offers courses to riders of all levels of ability. You can learn to ride, earn your motorcycle endorsement or take your skills to the next level. The course instruction and coaching will help you ride safer, smarter and more skillfully. Basic Rider Training (BRT): $199 / Available to all riders 16 and older; mandatory for new riders under 21.
