Introduction MMS (Mobile Manager Software) is the mobile viewer software that allows user to view the video image from DVR on the mobile phones. By installing the corresponding MMS software on the iphone, user can view the live video image and playback the recorded image on DVR through WAP, Wi-Fi or Dial-up Network. Wi-Fi : b, g Dial-Up Network : HSDPA, EDGE, 3G (depends on model) 4 MB for software installation 2.2 Installation of MMS Software ( MobileViewerPro ) 1) Tap App Store icon on your iphone or ipod to execute the software. 2) Input MobileviewerPro in search box and tap [Search] button. After found, tap the product icon to make sure that you have found the right software. 1/6

2 3) Tap [FREE] button after selecting MobileViewerPro icon, then [FREE] button will be changed to [INSTALL]. 4) Tap [INSTALL] button to finally install MobileViewerPro software on your iphone. After completed, MobileViewerPro icon will be enabled. Note 1) You can find TWO versions of application, MobileViewer & MobileViewerPro Both are compatible to all models of STL DVR with each different network port used. > Input of Network port for MobileViewer : 9011 (Same as Mobile Port of DVR) > Input of Network port for MobileViewerPro : 9010 (Same as TCP/IP Port of DVR) 2) Since all models of STL DVR support Dual-Stream (Separate Recording & Network Stream), each version of application is based on different stream as below. > MobileViewer : Based on Recording Stream & Setting > MobileViewerPro : Based on Network Stream & Setting 2/6

3 2.3 Site Registration 1) Tap MobileViewer2 icon and then tap Add button ( ) to register new site. 2) Tap Data Input Box to call virtual keypad and input necessary information. DVR Name : Reference name IP Address : Input IP address of the DVR (ex, ) If you want to connect through DDNS (cctv-link.net), input full domain name. ex) 001C845C501F for mac address : 001C845C501F.cctv-link.net ex) demo1 for IP address : demo1.cctv-link.net If you want to connect through public DDNS, input full domain name. ex) yourdomainname.dyndns.org Network Port : TCP/IP port # set in the DVR (Default : 9010) ID & Password : Same as registered in the DVR (ex, admin & 1234) 3) After data input is completed, tap [Save] button to save the site information. 4) Tap [OK] button to complete site registration. 3/6

4 2.4 Live Monitoring (1 Ch & 4 Ch for iphone; 1 Ch, 4 Ch, 9 Ch & 16 Ch for ipad) 1) Tap Live button ( ) and select a site to be connected. 2) If you want to get 4 Ch split screen, tap 4 Ch view button ( ) under 1 Ch screen mode. If you want to view another group of 4 Ch, tap an appropriate channel to switch. 3) You can change the viewing channel by tapping channel number on the upper part of the screen or sliding your finger on the image screen. 4) Rotate the iphone to view the image on full screen mode. 1 Ch, 4 Ch, 9 Ch & 16 Ch screen mode are available on ipad: Note 1) ipod can be connected through Wi-Fi only for image monitoring. 2) iphone may be connected through 3G if Wi-Fi is not available, in this case, heavy connection charges would be levied. It is strongly recommended that user has to pay attention to connection mode, Wi-Fi ( ) or 3G ( ). 4/6

5 2.5 Image Playback (VOD Mode) 1) Tap VOD button ( ) and select a site to playback images. 2) After selecting the date and time, tap Go to VOD button ( ) 3) The time can be specified in unit of minute. 4) 1 Ch and 4 Ch mode are available for VOD mode on iphone: 1 Ch, 4 Ch, 9 Ch & 16 Ch screen mode are available for VOD mode on ipad: 5/6

6 2.6 Useful Functions STL Security Limited User Authority Setting At DVR side, ADMIN user can create multiple new users with each different authority level (DVR Menu : System > User). If a certain user is not allowed to use either live monitoring or PTZ function, then such function is blocked at MMS. [abc user is not allowed for live monitoring] [User Registration] [No Permission] PTZ Function 1) Make sure that User ID has the authority for PTZ control at DVR site. 2) Connect to the DVR site and select the channel with PTZ camera. PTZ button ( ) will be shown on screen under live monitoring mode. PTZ function is available only on 1 Ch screen mode. 3) Tap PTZ button to go to PTZ mode.(ptz function icons will show up at the lower part of screen) The horizontal view is not available under PTZ mode. 4) Tap on the image screen directly to control the camera. 5) Tap EXIT button ( ) to quit PTZ mode. >>>>> End <<<<< 6/6
