Thank you for your interest in adopting a Puggle through Arizona Puggle Rescue. Arizona Puggle Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, and all volunteer organization, located in Tucson, Arizona and serving all of Arizona. We are dedicated to puggle rescue. We provide rescue, education and referral services for puggles from Arizona shelters and from homes that can no longer keep their dog. We work with Puggles; a mix of Pug and Beagle. In rare cases, if we have fosters and space available we will help with fostering and rehoming other animals. Arizona Puggle Rescue does not have a shelter; all of our dogs are fostered in volunteer homes until a new forever home is found. Adoption fees range from $100 to $275, depending on the age, health and adoptability of the dog. Young puppies can range up to $275. Puppies have higher adoption fees due to the spay/neuter procedure, vaccinations and other vet costs. The adoption fee helps over these costs but doesn t always cover all of the expenses. We count on fundraisers and donations to help with the everyday expenses. Adoption fees are non-refundable and are not tax deductible. Donations are tax deductible and very much appreciated. Most of our rescue dogs are 3 to 8 years old and eager to find a forever, loving home. There are rare occasions that we come across a puppy. If you desire a Puggle under the age of 1 we can add you to our waiting list. In the meantime won t you consider fostering one of our Puggles? It will help you get a feel of the breed and you may find that an older dog is a perfect fit. The average time to process an application is less than 48 hours. After you have selected the Puggle you wish to adopt and have let the Puggle meet any of your current pets, we will then meet with you/family, schedule a home visit and verify your references. Upon approval we will deliver your new Puggle to you. Please note that the home visit isn t to judge your housekeeping but rather to see if it is a safe environment for the Puggle (ie: fenced yard). We will work with you during the transition period as some Puggles that have been in our care for some time may have separation anxiety. If at any time you find that you can no longer care for your adopted Puggle please bring the dog back to the rescue; no judging, no questions. We just want the best for the Puggles and for their adoptive families. If it isn t a good fit we can try again. We appreciate your interest and thank you for considering giving a dog a second chance. 1

5 APPLICANT STATEMENTS By submitting your Adoption Application to adopt a Puggle, you agree to the following: I understand that Arizona Puggle Rescue, Inc. cannot guarantee that a particular dog will be available at the time my application is processed. Applications are processed with the best match not by the order of the applications. I will allow an Arizona Puggle Rescue volunteer to visit my home. I will ensure that my entire family can be present, including all pets, as this is important of matching a family with a dog. I authorize Arizona Puggle Rescue to contact my personal references and veterinarian listed in the application. If I am a renter, I will provide written documentation form from my landlord and/or property management authority permitting me to adopt a Puggle. Upon adopting a Puggle, I will pay the adoption fee to Arizona Puggle Rescue, Inc. Adoption fees range from $100 to $275 depending on the dog s age, health and other factors.
