He has conducted numerous one-on-one counseling sessions with small business clients, and has developed and instructed a myriad of educational training programs for entrepreneurs and economic development professionals. In addition, Mr. Spann has taught business management and marketing courses at the university level for over 22 years. SUMMARY OF OVERSEAS EXPERIENCE Mr. Spann has participated in various international academic and small business grant projects while at Southern University. He has designed and facilitated comprehensive entrepreneurial training programs as well as workshops/seminars on entrepreneurship, business planning, marketing, and financial management, and has conducted one-on-one consulting sessions and on-site visits for local small business owners in conjunction with the University of Liberia, Monrovia, Liberia, in 2010; and with Makerere University Business School, Kampala, Uganda, in 2009, 2008, 2007, and He facilitated a small business workshop for students at the State Engineering University of Armenia, Yerevan, Armenia, in Mr. Spann also participated in Rotary International - Group Study Exchange Program to India, PROFESSIONAL HISTORY Present Southern University and A & M College College of Business, Department of Management & Marketing Adjunct Professor Responsible for teaching various marketing and management courses, including Entrepreneurship Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southern University B.
