4 Our Blending Facility and Compounds In our newly extended blending facility, we can create fruit compounds to suit your needs, even using third party ingredients. We have homogenisation and sheer mixing facilities. Finished products can be supplied as aseptic, frozen or preserved in pack sizes from 25kg to 1000kg or even in tanker loads. 5 Standing Out Our Company Features Liquids Blending Facility Our computer controlled facility allows us to produce customised blends of concentrates and purees, as well as the addition of dry or liquid flavours and colours. Tanks We currently have mixing tanks with capacities of 1,000L, 2,000L, 5,000L, 10,000L and 26,000L. These are manufactured from 316 grade stainless steel, and are mounted on load cells. They are also fitted with stirrers. Recipe Control The semi-automatic system controls supply line valves to and from the mixing tanks, ensuring complete flexibility and accuracy during production and filling. Processing The system has an in-line homogeniser, a Silverson shear mixer and tubular pasteuriser. Filling Non-aseptic filling is controlled by weight, and this gives us the option to pack in a variety of container sizes from 10kg jerrycans through to 1,100kg IBCs and road tankers. A separate aseptic filling line allows us to pack bag-in-box, bag-in-drum or bulk bins of various capacities between 15L, 20L, 200L and 1000L. Clean In Place (C.I.P) A fully automated C.I.P system ensures that plant cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times. There is also a dedicated station for cleaning returned IBCs.

7 Spices & Herbs Spice Milling and Blending Our purpose built factory in Basildon includes a dedicated spice mill and blending facility, where we process and re-pack bulk raw materials, either for stock or tailored to customer order. We can offer a variety of packing options and sizes subject to minimum order quantity. Benefits to customers include: Mill Reduction in stock holding Just-in-time deliveries Raw material packed to batch sizes Our automated mill incorporates large capacity and flexibility, along with prerequisites of the food industry such as: Pre-cleaning prior and post-milling with a combination of vibrator and rotary sieves. In-line earth magnetic screening at high strength In-line metal detection of 0.9mm ferrous and 1.0mm non-ferrous prior to final filling Blending The blending system is of food grade stainless steel, and incorporates the above facilities, with additional metal detection. Automatic Filling The automated filling head allows us to accurately pack various size bags or pails.
