The respiratory care program at Seattle Central College takes place over 9 sequential quarters. In order to graduate and be eligible for credentialing, licensure, and employment in the field, students must first complete an AAS-T in Allied Health, then complete the BAS in Allied Health. The scope of practice for a Respiratory Care Practitioner can be viewed here: The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). They are located at 1248 Harwood Road Bedford, TX Feel free to visit their website at Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the Registered Respiratory Therapist exam to be credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Once credentialed, graduates are then eligible for licensure in Washington State. Applications for the program are reviewed each winter for admission into the program in the following spring quarter. The successful applicant has the knowledge, skills, and professional demeanor to be successful in a rigorous full-time professional program.
