2 Program Day 1 After your arrival in Switzerland a private airport assistant awaits you and escorts you to the train. The journey may begin! Your first class train will take you to the world famous resort St. Moritz. The village is located at an altitude of 1,856 meters above sea level on the southern flank of the Swiss Alps, amidst the lake landscape of the Engadine, the roof of Europe. 3 Day 3 Today you will take the famous Swiss mountain train Glacier Express from St. Moritz to Andermatt. The first class journey lasts around five hours and takes you over numerous bridges, through many tunnels and crossing the 2033 m high impressive Oberalp Pass. A panoramic trip through the alpine heartland of Switzerland. Enjoy a tasty 3-course lunch on the train, which will be served at your seats while travelling through untouched nature, fragrant and unspoilt mountain forests, tranquil alpine pastures and mountain valleys steeped in century. The mighty Matterhorn, the world's most famous rock is enthroning over Zermatt. The Matterhorn is a natural pyramid glittering in the sun and is the European Alps' most photographed mountain. Zermatt, a car-free village, has been able to retain the character of a traditional, idyllic Alpine village. Even the architecture has largely remained unchanged. 4 Day 5 Today take the luxurious VIP cable car from Zermatt to Trockener Steg while enjoying a sparkling glass of champagne. From there take the regular cable car further to Klein Matterhorn station. Here you can enjoy the beautiful countryside and the quietness of the world's highest glacier palace. Approximately 15 meters under the surface of the glacier and the various glacial splits and gaps, all be explored in amazement. Discrete lighting and spherical sounds accompany this small wonder of the glacial world. Information about the creation of the palace, glaciology and wine, and the fascinating sculpture skillfully honed from the ice all add up to a very special experience. Because of its central location right on Lake Lucerne, which is surrounded by grand mountains like Mount Titlis at an altitude of 3000 meters or the impressive Mount Pilatus, Lucerne is considered to be the "Switzerland in Switzerland". You will find everything here: the lake, the mountains, the city. Stroll through small streets, bridges, promenades and plazas dominated by historical buildings. Travel by train from Lucerne to Stans where you will board the old-time funicular for an exciting ride to "Kälti" the middle station. Here, you change to the world s first topless aerial cable car Cabrio which sweeps you up to Mount Stanserhorn. Enjoy the breathtaking view on the snow-capped Swiss Alps. 5 Day 7 A full day excursion to the house mountain of Lucerne is on your program today the Mount Pilatus. After a leisurely cruise on crystal-clear Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad ascend by the steepest rack railway in the world to Pilatus Kulm. On top you have time to walk up to the vista point and to admire the breath taking panorama over the Swiss Alps and Lucerne. Enjoy a traditional Swiss picnic with tasty Swiss cheese and sausage. Then descend by aerial cable car to Fraenkmuentegg, change to smaller cable cars and sweep over pine forests and mountain meadows to the village of Kriens.
