Then Matthews acrylic polyurethane paint is applied on photopolymer. The raised portion of the sign is then silk screened in a contrasting color to produce the finished sign. Most photopolymer signs are 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 or 1/4 thick. However other thicknesses are achieved by adding a acrylic backer to achieve the thickness desired.
