Students must: 1) pass 9 Carnegie credits f curses frm this pathway; 2) including at least ne Career Readiness curse (ne Carnegie credit); and 3) attain ne statewide credential (r the LCTCS equivalent certificate / diplma). Every Jump Start student must take a minimum f ne Carnegie credit f Career Readiness curses. 15 Internships, Cperative Curses and Virtual Wrkplace Experience Curses Cperative curses, Virtual Wrkplace Experience curses and Internships (with the exceptin f Nn- CTE Internships) are universal curses - they apply t every Jump Start graduatin pathway. There are three types f internships: Internships 1) CDF- Qualifying Internships where students are placed in a cmpany that perates in ne f the WIC- apprved high- demand industry sectrs. CDF- Qualifying Internships qualify fr bth the 6% MFP adder paid fr all CTE curses and the 6% Career Develpment Fund (CDF) adder; 2) CTE Internships where students are placed in a cmpany that perates in any ther industry sectrs. CTE Internships qualify nly fr the 6% MFP adder fr all CTE curses; and 3) Nn- CTE internships where students are placed in a nn- business internship. Nn- CTE Internships d nt qualify fr any MFP adder. Examples f Nn- CTE Internships include internships at a schl ffice, a vlunteer rganizatin r a religius rganizatin.
