1 Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy 205/206 Calendar Notes: Dark gray shading indicates no school days. No shading means it is a regular school day. Light gray shading indicates an early release day. On a regular school day every student has four classes: one Encore (MS) or Elective (HS) class and three Core classes. The color of the day (Gold, Blue, or White) refers to the three different Encore classes in which every 6, 7, and th grader is enrolled. The three letters (ABC, DEA, etc.) refer to the three Core classes every 6, 7, and th grader has every day. For example, means that the student meets with his or her Blue Encore class and his or her B, C, and D Core classes that day. The A and E block classes would not meet on that day. The high school Core schedule is the same every day. The or indicates which high school Elective class meets that day. The classes missed on a snow day are simply cancelled. The class rotation continues as written. In January and again in May there is an Exam Week. Many classes, especially in the th grade and in high school, schedule important cumulative exams during those weeks and so the school avoids scheduling other events during those times. Please be aware that there can be some differences between the HMTCA calendar and the Hartford Public Schools calendar. Some of the events in May & June 206 are only scheduled tentatively until we know how many snow days we get this year.
