After acquiring last year the rights for 2014, 2015 and 2016 from the Quebec Golf Association (amateur body), the Quebec PGA was very proud to re-launch the Quebec Open, an event absent from the golf scene for nearly 20 years. From its inception in 1909, its 90 years of history makes the Quebec Open the second oldest tournament in Canada, next to the Canadian Open (1904). It marked professional golf history. The Quebec PGA is thrilled to contribute to its continuity.
