1 IVAO Nordic Region ACC Copenhagen (EKDK) LETTER OF AGREEMENT between and IVAO The Netherlands Amsterdam ACC (EHAA) Dutchmil ACC (EHMC) Amsterdam FIC (EHAI) Effective: 1 January GENERAL. 1.1 Purpose The purpose of this Letter of Agreement is to define the co-ordination procedures to be applied between ACC Copenhagen and Amsterdam ACC when providing ATS to General Air Traffic (IFR/VFR). These procedures are supplementary to those specified by IVAO and/or National documents. 2 AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND DELEGATION OF THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PROVISION OF ATS. 2.1 Areas of Responsibility The lateral and vertical limits of the respective areas of responsibility are as follows: ACC Copenhagen Lateral limits: Copenhagen FIR and airspace delegated to ACC Copenhagen within London FIR/UIR (EGTT), see 2.2. Vertical limits: FL85 to FL660 in Copenhagen FIR FL195 to FL660 in delegated airspace within London FIR/UIR Amsterdam ACC Lateral limits: Amsterdam FIR Vertical limits: FL245 to FL Dutchmil ACC Lateral limits: Amsterdam FIR Vertical limits: FL055 to FL Amsterdam FIC Lateral limits: Amsterdam FIR Vertical limits: SFC to FL055
2 Delegation of the Responsibility for the Provision of ATS Other areas Within the EGTT UIR/FIRs the responsibility for the provision of ATS in accordance with the airspace classifications has been delegated from Scottish ACC to ACC Copenhagen in an area north west of the line N050000E N043200E from FL195 to FL660, designated North Sea High Area. See diagram The airspacee classification within this area is C. Diagram 2.01 delegated airspace a North Sea High Area Within the indicated area, ATS is provided p by Copenhagen ACCC
3 3 PROCEDURES 3.1 The procedures to be applied by ACC Copenhagen and Amsterdam ACC are detailed in the Annexes to this Letter of Agreement: Annex A: Definitions and Abbreviations Annex B: Area of Common Interest Annex D: Procedures for Co-ordination Annex E: Transfer of Control and Transfer of Communications Annex F: Radar Based Co-ordination Procedures 3.2 These procedures shall be promulgated to the operational staff of the ATS units concerned by means of publishing in manuals/documents on division website as well as in the division forums as deemed necessary. 4 REVISIONS AND DEVIATIONS 4.1 The revision of the present Letter of Agreement, including Annexes, requires the mutual written consent of the signatory authorities. 4.2 Temporary deviations When necessary, the operational staff of the ATS units concerned may introduce, by mutual agreement and for a specified time period, temporary modifications to the procedures laid down in the Annexes to the present Letter of Agreement. 5 VALIDITY This Letter of Agreement becomes effective 1 January Vejle, 28 December 2014 XN-AOC Jonathan Hougaard IVAO Nordic Region Division Amsterdam, 28 December 2014 NL-AOAC IVAO The Netherlands Division

Traffic in the North Sea uncontrolled area (SFC-FL055): EHAI_CTR, Amsterdam Information, EHAA_W_CTR, Amsterdam Radar, EHAA_E_CTR, Amsterdam Radar, Traffic in the NW Millingen CTA North (FL055-FL245): EHMC_N_CTR, Dutchmil, EHMC_S_CTR, Dutchmil, EHAA_W_CTR, Amsterdam Radar, EHAA_E_CTR, Amsterdam Radar, Traffic in the Amsterdam UIR (FL245-FL660): EHAA_W_CTR, Amsterdam Radar, EHAA_E_CTR, Amsterdam Radar, B.2.2 Temporary changes in sectorisation shall be coordinated with the involved ATS units whenever applicable.
7 ANNEX D PROCEDURES FOR CO-ORDINATION D.1 ATS-Routes, Co-ordination Points and Level Allocation Available ATS-Routes, COPs to be used and flight allocation to be applied are described in the tables below. D.1.1 Flights from ACC Copenhagen to Amsterdam ACC ATS-Route COP Flight Allocation Special Conditions L619 UL619 SUTEB Odd level, FL270 and above P603 UP603 GREFI Even level, FL260 and above Z705 UZ705 AMADA D.1.2 Flights from Amsterdam ACC to ACC Copenhagen ATS-Route COP Flight Allocation Special Conditions UL619 L619 SUTEB Even level, FL260 and above UP603 P603 UZ733 P603 GREFI Odd level, FL210 and above UZ704 Z704 AMADA Odd level, FL250 and above D.2 Special procedures D.2.1 The North Sea area inside the EHAA FIR consists mainly of military practice areas which can be activated and will then have limited to no availability for crossing civil flights. Activation of these areas will be done only by NL-Staff and communicated to the XN-Staff for publication and notification of the procedures in effect. D.3 VFR flights VFR flights within EHAA FIR/UIR is not allowed above FL55. Any VFR flights entering EHAA FIR at or below FL55 will be in G airspace. Prior coordination for this traffic is not required. D.4 Helicopter operations in the lower airspace If operating under IFR flight rules helicopter operations in the lower airspace over the North Sea shall be coordinated individually. Operations under VFR shall be treated as in point D.3
8 ANNEX E TRANSFER OF CONTROL AND TRANSFER OF COMMUNICATIONS E.1 Transfer of Control The transfer of control takes place at the coordination points specified in D.1. E.2 Transfer of Communications The transfer of communications shall take place not later than two minutes before the transfer of control unless otherwise coordinated.
9 ANNEX F RADAR BASED CO-ORDINATION PROCEDURES F.1 Silent Transfer of Radar Control Silent transfer of radar control (transfer without prior coordination) between Amsterdam ACC and ACC Copenhagen may take place provided that at least 2000FT or 20NM of separation exists between traffic and levels are assigned in accordance with section D.1. F.1.1 Reduced separation A smaller separation than that specified in F.1 may only be used after prior coordination between the relevant ATC units.
