2 Outline This is an intense course designed for practitioners who want to pack maximum information into 4 days. The course covers all aspects of all-ceramic crowns, veneers and temporaries. Different all-ceramic crown and veneer systems Preparation and cementation techniques Master temporary restorations the key to success The course was introduced in 2014 due to popular demand and is especially suited for: Experienced practising dentists wanting to update their clinical knowledge and skills Dentists that have recently qualified and are looking to plug the gaps between dental school and dental practice and boost their confidence Delegates from abroad and travelling from afar. The course runs over 4 consecutive days, with days split into approximately 30% seminar and 70% hands-on. The course takes place in Dr Mizrahi s State-of-the-Art integrated practice and teaching facility located in Central London. All practical exercises are on Phantom Heads. Delegate numbers are limited to no more than 8 ensuring an intimate and constructive learning environment. For the duration of the course, all teaching, support and mentoring is provided personally by Dr Mizrahi. Upon completing the course, all delegates will become members of Mizrahi Dental Teaching (MDT) Alumni Network. The MDT Alumni Network meets once a year for a topical presentation by Dr Mizrahi followed by socialising and networking events. Relevant articles and lecture notes are distributed prior to the course start date. The course provides 24 hours of verifiable CPD points. Course Dates 2014 The course will run over 4 consecutive dates from Thursday 16 th July to Sunday 19 th July Day1 & Day 2: Thursday 16 th July and Friday 17 th July 2015 Anterior Crown Preparation and Temporisation Day 3 & Day 4: Saturday 18 th July and Sunday 19 th July 2015 Porcelain Veneers Preparation and Temporisation

3 Detailed Programme Anterior Crowns and Temporisation (2 days) Content Understanding the differences between various all-ceramic crowns Which all-ceramic crowns to use when Different types of tooth preparation for different types of crowns Cementation and bonding techniques, protocols and materials Temporisation - Acrylic resin vs Bis-acryl Improve your temporaries and start treating more complex cases How to get perfect margins and create healthy gingivae with your temporaries Laboratory provisionals When to use them and what type to use Practical exercises (on phantom heads) Preparation of 2 anterior teeth for all ceramic crowns Temporisation of the preparation using acrylic resins. Focus will be on learning how to use acrylic resins to enhance the results of those obtained with Bis-acryl resins. Shape modification and remargination techniques will be taught Remargination techniques to obtain optimal tissue health and better impressions

5 Porcelain Veneers (2 days) (Preparation, Impressions, Temporisation and Cementation) Content Indications and contra-indications for porcelain veneers Different modalities of preparing teeth for porcelain veneers Choice of materials for veneers Failures and how to avoid them Temporisation predictable and aesthetic temporaries Cementation materials, techniques and protocols Practical exercises (on phantom heads) Veneer preparation of 4 anterior teeth different preparation designs Immediate Dentine Sealing Veneer preparation through mock-up Silicone preparation guides (horizontal and vertical) Fabrication of temporary veneers Impression taking Veneer cementation under rubber dam

6 Notes Each day, starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm Catering: Hot lunch and teas will be provided on all days Lecture notes and reading material are included and will be distributed prior to each day. 7 Payment Terms & Conditions Cost The cost for the 4 day course is 2,400 + VAT ( 2,880). Deposit To book your place on the course, a non-refundable deposit of 1000 is required. Due to limited spaces available on our courses, attendance on all booked days is expected and payments are non-refundable. In the unlikely event of cancellation of a course by us, we will endeavour to inform all delegates two months before the course date. All course fees paid will be reimbursed in full.
