4 . Introduction The v.3 Multi-Channels Splitter the most advanced solution for signal distribution. It is compatible to v.3 specifications, a cutting-age technology which defines the support to transfer Deep Color (0-bit and 2- bit) video and new lossless compressed (Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio) digital audio, with a high bandwidth up to 225MHz (6.75Gbps). Besides splitting and distributing, it also does signal amplification and equalization to provide high performance I/O of audio and video. Furthermore, it support up to different output displays simultaneously with a reset bottom for back up the image unity when in disorder. 6 6. Operation Controls and Functions 6. Front Panel INPUT EDID SYS. Reset SYNC DC 5V POWER STD TV ON OFF CLUX-M V.3 Splitter Outputs : Connect each of the output ports to the display. When more than one output connected, the outputs play identical video signal simultaneously. 2 Input: Connect input port to the or DVI output of your source equipment such as DVD player or set-top-box. 3 EDID Control switch: STD(INT) and TV (EXT), default setting is TV. When EDID is on TV: Leave as it is if display is properly, unit will detect the first output source's EDID and record in the unit. If the first detected output source is DVI it will pass to next source until the fist is been detected. The detection priority is v.3 > v.2 > DVI. System Reset: Switch to ON stage, the system will send the internal CEC to the display within 8~0 minutes to force all the displays switch to port. Meanwhile, the source CEC will not functional to the system. When switch to OFF stage, the system reset function will terminate. 5 Sync LED: The LED will illuminate when the source signal is connected to the input port. 6 Power LED Indicator: The LED will illuminate when the power is connected. 7 Power: Plug the 5V DC power supply into the splitter and connect the adaptor to AC wall outlet. 3
