3 LOGGING IN Getting Started ACCOUNT INFORMATION When the VIEVU Solution App is launched for the first time you will be prompted to input your Username, Password and Account Name. Account Name is the first part of your VIEVU Solution website. Example (where xxxx is the Account Name) Do not connect to the LE4 camera Wi-Fi prior to logging into the VIEVU Solution App. An active internet connection is required in order to authenticate your credentials. If you need to change the account name in the future, press the and password. underneath username MAIN MENU Live View The LE4 is capable of real-time streaming high quality, high framerate video and audio over secure Wi-Fi. Live View mode will enable you to see what video you are capturing and adjust positioning if necessary. CONNECT TO CAMERA Press Live View button. Double tap on the screen to open Wi-Fi settings. Connect to the Wi-Fi network that matches your camera s serial number. Input the password for the Wi-Fi network. A default password will be provided by your administrator. Use the Back button on your smartphone to return to the App. The real-time stream from the LE4 will be displayed. Note that no video is being recorded to the smartphone. - Wi-Fi should be enabled on the phone to be able to connect to the camera. - If a connection issue occurs, use the retry button to attempt reconnection. 4 Add Metadata The VIEVU Solution App enables you to review video stored on the LE4 camera over a secure, encrypted Wi-Fi connection. You may also add metadata to your video prior to uploading to VIEVU Solution. CONNECT TO CAMERA Press Add Metadata button. Double tap on the screen to open Wi-Fi settings. Connect to the Wi-Fi network that matches your camera s serial number. Input the password for the Wi-Fi network. A default password will be provided by your administrator. Use the Back button on your smartphone to return to the App. - Wi-Fi should be enabled on the phone to be able to connect to the camera. - If a connection issue occurs, use the retry button to attempt reconnection. EDIT METADATA / UPLOAD CAMERA VIDEO (WINDOWS PHONE, IOS) Select a video to add metadata. Press Menu to bring up an options menu. Select Edit Metadata to add metadata to the video. Add information and press Save. Select Upload Video to transfer video from the camera to your VIEVU Solution cloud. EDIT METADATA (ANDROID) Select a video to add metadata. 5 Videos The VIEVU Solution App enables you to review Video stored in your VIEVU Solution cloud. No connection to the camera is necessary to review Video stored in VIEVU Solution. SEARCH BY CRITERIA Select a Criteria on the left. Type in a Search criteria. Press + next to the result (if required). The search criteria will move to the combined search box below. Press Search. The videos matching the search criteria will be displayed. - Complex searches can be created by selecting multiple search criteria before pressing the Search button. - To search for all videos, leave the search criteria empty and press the Search button. Cases The VIEVU Solution App enables you to review Cases created in your VIEVU Solution cloud. No connection to the camera is necessary to review Cases in VIEVU Solution. SEARCH BY CRITERIA Select a Criteria on the left. Type in a Search criteria. Press + next to the result (if required). The search criteria will move to the combined search box below. Press Search. The cases matching the search criteria will be displayed. - Complex searches can be created by selecting multiple search criteria before pressing the Search button. - To search for all cases, leave the search criteria empty and press the Search button. 6 Upload Phone Video The VIEVU Solution App enables users to upload video stored on the smartphone to VIEVU Solution, even if they are not using an LE camera.
