SKIN: Prolonged and/or repeated skin contact may cause skin irritation characterized by redness, cracking and blistering. Absorption through skin contact is not considered a significant route of exposure. INHALATION: Although inhalation is not considered a significant route of exposure, high vapor concentrations may cause respiratory irritation. INGESTION: Although ingestion is not considered a significant route of exposure, gastrointestinal irritation and nausea may occur if swallowed. CHRONIC: Carbon black and titanium dioxide are classified by IARC as possibly carcinogenic to humans (2B) based on inadequate evidence in humans and sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in laboratory animals. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: known. \ 4 FIRST AID MEASURES EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention. SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. If redness, itching, burning or other symptoms develop or persist, get medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. INHALATION: No specific treatment is necessary since this material is not likely to be hazardous by inhalation. If exposed to excessive levels of vapor, remove victim to fresh air and seek medical attention if cough or other symptoms develop. INGESTION: If swallowed, call a physician or poison control center. 5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES The liquid material will not burn. However, the dried paint film may burn in a fire. Keep container closed when material is not in use. Maintain good housekeeping. An epidemiological study found that employees exposed to titanium dioxide were at no greater risk of developing lung cancer than non-exposed employees.
