2 This 3-day conference will provide updated research, application and skill development in Extracorporeal Life Support designed to improve the care and management for patients and their families. CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES:. Participants will be able to: differentiate and formulate approaches to the intricate process of managing coagulation in ECLS patients; articulate the future of ECLS therapies; assess and utilize best practices for supporting bleeding risk patients; and build skills for managing CRRT and ECPR priming. INTENDED AUDIENCE: The program is designed for physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, cardiovascular perfusionists and advanced practice professionals who are active in the clinical application, research and development of Extracorporeal Life Support therapies. ABSTRACTS: Please share your experience of ECMO by submitting an abstract. Abstracts must be no more than 1-page. Suitable abstracts include challenging cases, case series, retrospective and prospective studies.
