International Sports Training Camp (ISTC) is a one-of-a-kind sports camp that combines traditional summer camp experiences with the one week sports camp experience! Each week 275 campers ages 8 through 17, with varying athletic abilities, flock to ISTC for the time of their lives! Set alongside our picturesque and private 100-acre Trout Lake, ISTC is in the heart of northeastern Pennsylvania s Pocono Mountains, making it easily and quickly accessible from both New York City and Philadelphia. Our 500-acre breathtaking facility is the ultimate setting for a summer camp! ISTC is truly the best place to be. Next summer will be my third, and I know that I can always be myself there. The setting is absolutely beautiful and every single camper and staff I have met are, no doubt, the nicest people ever. I never want to have a last summer there! Camper Sam Camp Directors ISTC is owned by the Klaus Family and is directed by Mark Major and Kara Klaus-Major. Mark and Kara have grown up in camping and dedicated their lives to providing the best camping experiences to their campers and their families. They sit on many camp-related boards and are sought after speakers and leaders in the camp community. Over the past 20 years, they have developed ISTC into an elite facility with exceptional staff and countless happy campers!

The ISTC experience is hard to sum up! ISTC campers always say you have to experience it to understand it! Each camp day includes three sports sessions, two recreation sessions, and kid-crazy cabin contests! Our campers love playing sports and have all different levels of athletic abilities. Our carefully selected staff blend everyone s enthusiasm for camp and sports to teach important life skills and provide awesome positive experiences. The support and encouragement the coaches and counselors give the campers provide them with the confidence to try new things successfully. This is one of the reasons campers cheer fanatically all day long! All campers, no matter the program they select, participate in our recreation program where they get to choose from many wildly popular activities in addition to their sports sessions. In the evening they get to unwind and have fun experiences like campfires and s mores, lip sync contests and camp dance parties. What a great way to end an already fab day! 4 Camp Life AT ISTC Facilities Just imagine 500 acres of pure beauty nestled in Pennsylvania s Pocono Mountains and overlooking our own, private Trout Lake. From our landscaped grounds, to our fields and waterfront, our facilities are reknowned for being among the best in the camp community! When parents arrive to drop off their kids, many tell us that ISTC feels like a country club...and even ask if they can stay! Health and Safety We continually improve and expand our camp facilities, keeping safety at the forefront of our minds! In 2009, we debuted an environmentally friendly state-of-the-art health center to provide the ultimate in camp health care. Our live-in nurses and athletic trainers are solely dedicated to ensuring a safe and healthy camp experience for all! Cabins Each cabin sits lakeside and is outfitted with a deck, so campers can put their feet up and enjoy the true camp feel. Cabins feature individual bathrooms and showers and are cooled by the lake breezes. Campers are assigned a cabin based on their age group and are led each week by at least 2 live-in counselors who will ensure that each camper gets the most from their camp experience! ISTC is the best camp on the planet. My son has attended for five years and it has changed his life. The owners and staff genuinely care about the kids and go to all lengths to make sure that every child has a positive experience. All our meals are served buffet-style so our campers have a slew of options and can choose exactly what and how much they want. Our lakeside cookout dinners, complete with DJ music, are great fun! And, yes, we even cater to most food allergies! We re a nut-free facility and have both vegetarian and gluten-free options.

5 All Sports (AGES PROGRAM 8-16) Teaching Life Lessons Through Sports The All Sports Program has something for everyone! This program is tailor-made for the camper who just loves playing sports! Do you want to spend your days playing traditional American sports and learning new games from all around the globe? This program is so chock-full of activities, no two days will be the same! Through sports, we teach our campers life-long skills like good sportsmanship, teamwork, communication and leadership! So, no matter your athletic ability, you will be successful! This fun and nonpressure environment is just one of the reasons why this multi-sport camp experience is a camper favorite and is by far our most popular program! 6 Due to the encouragement, support, and amazing staff at ISTC, I became a better person. Without going to ISTC I would not be where I am today. Camper Matt IXTC PROGRAM (AGES 15-17) Taking Camp to a Whole New Level! What happens when year olds design the summer camp of their dreams? Why, IXTC, of course! A sport and adventure camp that mixes extreme sports with building life skills...all while having the time of your life! But it s not just about adventure. IXTC campers develop skills that last a lifetime...skills like teamwork, leadership, confidence, independence, decision making and the ability to voice their opinions. Imagine days filled with goose bump-inducing activities like mountain biking, rock climbing, jet skiing and dune buggying. Nights are packed with excitement - nighttime laser tag, a dance party on the beach and even a dodgeball competition that pits IXTCers against the coaching staff (an all-time camper favorite). Our teens have a lot more freedom in their schedule than our younger campers. It s kind of like a camp within a camp! They have the power to customize their experience by choosing their own activities. They get to stay up later, sleep in later, and finish their week with an IXTC tradition where they spend time bonding and savoring their camp friendships.

7 Soccer (AGES PROGRAM 8-16) The Ultimate Experience for Soccer and Camp Loving Kids At ISTC, we ve brought together the best of two worlds: the skill training of a world-class soccer camp with the friendship-building fun of a traditional summer camp. Playing six hours of soccer each day, campers can dramatically improve upon their play. All the drills are presented in a kid-fun fashion, so while they are learning and being challenged, they are smiling and having a great time! To finish each day, campers will get the chance to perfect the skills they ve learned in the competitive environment of scrimmages. And, if that didn t already sound like a ton of fun, campers get to participate in all the amazing recreation activities like jet skiing, banana boating, and the climbing tower! Plus, everyone at soccer camp gets to enjoy campfires and s mores, recreation activities like lip sync contests, and camp dances. This is more than a camp, it will turn into your home. I ve been coming here for the past 8 summers and I can honestly say you ll be your happiest when you re there and do things that you ll never forget. 8 Weekends AT ISTC Our weekend stay overs are super popular - in fact, three out of every four campers stay the weekend! It is the perfect way to extend your camper s stay at ISTC, and it gives parents the convenience and flexibility of picking up their child on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. When signing up for camp, just select your check-out day of choice! The weekends give campers more time to spend with their friends and soak up camp life! Campers participate in an organized recreational program that includes some of our most popular activities like tubing and rock climbing, and added fun stuff like an outdoor movie, cotton candy afternoons, nighttime camp dances, and a professional show every Friday night. Beyond ISTC Retreat Facility From September through June, International Sports Training Camp becomes Trout Lake Retreats and Conference Center! Our outstanding lakeside camp retreat center specializes in hosting memorable retreats for church groups, school groups, scout and YMCA groups, and more! We also hold one-of-a-kind lakeside wedding celebrations and special events like family reunions and corporate picnics. Trout Lake is able to accommodate groups starting at 30 people. We are happy to customize a package perfectly suited for you! Sister Camp IGC International Gymnastics Camp (IGC) is our sister camp and is located only one mile away from International Sports Training Camp.
