1 CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION PONDOK INDAH INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

CONDITION OF COMPETITION The Following conditions, together with any additions or amendments as published by the Organizing Committee at the host club, will apply under Rule 33-1 to this Championship. 2. GENERAL Pondok Indah International Junior Golf Championship 2013 will be played at the Pondok Indah Golf from 3 to 5 December 2013 in accordance with the rules of Golf as approved R&A Rules Limited and with the Local Rules approved by the Organizing Committee. 3. ELIGIBILITY i. Entries are open to all boys and girls who is under 18 years old of age on at December, 3 rd 2013 with Course Handicap Max 25. ii. All entries will subject to the approval of the Organizing Committee (OC) which reserves the right to accept of refuse, or having accepted, subsequently reject any entry without giving reason for its decision. iii. Entrants must conform in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by R&A Rules Limited. 4. TOURNAMENT FORMAT OF PLAY i. The Championship will be decided by stroke play over three rounds of 18 holes. ii. The Overall Boy and Girl Champion shall be the player with the lowest gross aggregate score over the three rounds. iii. Players will also complete in the respective age groups. They are : Boys Girls a. Boy A years a. Girl A years b. Boy B years b. Girl B years c. Boy C years c. Girl C Under 11 years d. Boy D Under 10 years iv. A team Event for Boys and Girls will be held in conjunction with the Championship. It shall be played over three rounds of the Championship. Each team will be represented by two/three players, any combination of Class A and B players. The Winning teams shall be the team with the lowest combined gross scores of the team members for the three rounds. v. In the event of insufficient entries, the Team Event may be canceled. 5. SIZE OF FIELD - The field will be limited to a maximum of 144 participants. - The OC reserves the right to refuse any entry without assigning any reason for such refusal. The decisions of the OC to the acceptance or refusal of any entry shall be final. 6. ENTRY i. The entry fee per player is US$ 100 (Foreign Players), Rp , (Indonesian Player) and must be submitted after entry approved by committee (see the website). Payment should be made to the following account : Bank Central Asia. (IDR) BCA Magdalena Netty or Delvi Yunita Fatmawati (USD) BCA There will be no refund of entry fee after the closing date. 2

3 ii. Entries must be on the Official entry form duly endorsed by the Captain/ Secretary/ Club/ Association. If a player has his handicap Index maintained at more than one Club, he shall play of the lower/lowest Handicap Index. iii. Entries must be submitted to the Organizing Committee no later than Wednesday, 20 th November 2013 iv. The OC reserves The right to limit, accept or reject entries. 7. CLOSING DATE The Closing date is 20 th November Late entries may be accepted at the sole discretion of the OC. 8. DRAW - The draw for the first and second rounds will be made by the OC prior to start of the Championship. - The draw for the final round will be based on the cumulative gross of the preceding rounds. 9. TIME OF STARTING - Players shall start at the time and in the order indicated in the draw. No substitution of players and changes of starting times shall be permitted after the draw has been made. - The OC reserves the right to fix and/or alter the starting times. 10.SUBMISSION OF SCORECARD - Players should check their cards in the returning area (scoring table) and correct and signed. Any doubtful points should be settled with the OC before returning the scorecard. - A player Is deemed to have returned his scorecard and no further amendments may be made once he has left the returning area (scoring table) or the demarcated area where they exist. 11.DECISION OF TIES i. Individual Event In the event of a tie or ties for the first place, the champion shall be decided by a hole by hole play-off to take place as soon as practicable. The purpose of the playoff is to decide the Champion only. In the event inclement weather or other reason make the play-of impractical, the Organizing Committee s decision to determine the Champion is final. All other ties will be decided on the lowest score for the last 18 hole (or the last 9 or 6 or 3 or 18 hole). If tie still arises, the score for the 2 nd round and, if necessary, the 1 st round will be treated in the same way until a decision is reached. ii. Team Event In the event of a tie or ties for the first and any place, the tie will be decided on the lowest combined team score of the last round. If a tie still arises, the combined team scores of the 2 nd round and, if necessary, 1 st round will be used until a decision is reached. The Organizing Committee s decision to determine the Winning Team is final. 3

SUSPENSION OF PLAY FOR DANGEROUS SITUATION (NOTE TO RULE 6-8b) - The specimen Condition in the Rules of Golf in effect-see pages All practice areas that are in open areas shall be closed during suspension for a dangerous situation until the OC has declared them open. - A suspension of play for a dangerous situation and resumption of play shall be signaled using the host club s warning system. 13. INCLEMENT WEATHER - In the event that the first round of The Championship cannot be completed, it shall be continue the next day prior to the commencement of the second round. - In the event that the second round of the Championship cannot be completed, it shall be continued the next day prior to the commencement of the third round. - In the event that the second and/or third round of the Championship cannot be completed, the rounds shall be abandoned. The result of the Championship will then be based on the completed rounds. 14. CADDIES - The use of caddies is allowed for this Championship and players are only allowed to use the in house caddies and no parents or official are allowed to caddy the player. - Players shall walk at all time and are not allowed to use any motorized vehicle during the stipulated round unless allowed by the Rules officials. 15. PACE OF PLAY Rule 6-7 (Undue Delay; Slow Play) will be strictly using the, the Group Pace of Play system. See separate memorandum to players for the Pace of Play guidelines. 16. DISPUTES OR DOUBT AS TO PROCEDURE - If there is a doubt as to the correct procedures, players are to refer to the Tournament Rules Official. If a Tournament Rules Official is not immediately available, a player (having notified his marker) may elect to play two balls in accordance with Rule 3-3 and obtain a ruling at the conclusion of the round, prior to signing and the return of the scorecard. - No spectators (including parents or accompanying officials) are to enter into any discussion on a matter under dispute. 17. TOURNAMENT RULES OFFICIAL/REFEREE The Tournament Rules Official/ Referee s decision on all matters pertaining to the Rules of Golf is Final. - The Tournament Referee s decision is final (Rule 34-2) - The decision of the Committee shall be final (Rule 34-3) 18. INSURANCE All players are required to have appropriate golfing insurance. 19. MEASURING DEVICES During a stipulated round, the use of distance measuring device is not allowed. Penalty for Breach of Condition: Disqualification. 4

5 20. LIST OF CONFORMING GOLF BALLS The ball the player plays must be named on the current List of Conforming Balls issued by R&A - The specimen Condition in the Rules of Golf is in effect-see page The specimen Condition in the Rules of Golf is in effect. 21. LIST OF CONFORMING DIVER HEADS Any driver the player carries must have a club head, identified by model and loft, that is named on the current List of Conforming Driver Heads issued by R&A. Exception: A driver with a club head that was manufactured prior to 1999 is exempt from this condition. Penalty for carrying, but not making stroke with, club or clubs in breach of condition: Two strokes for each hole at which any breach occurred; maximum penalty per round-four Strokes. If the breach is discovered between the play of two hole, it is deemed to have been discovered during play of the next hole, and the penalty must be applied accordingly. Any club or clubs carried in breach of this condition must be declared out of play by the player his marker or a fellow-competitor immediately upon discovery that a breach has occurred. If the player fails to do so, he is disqualified. PENALTY FOR MAKING STROKE WITH CLUB IN BREACH OF CONDITION: Disqualification. 22. PRIZES The Following prizes will be awarded : a. Boys & Girls Champion. b. Boys group 5 best gross winner; Girls Group 3 best gross winner. c. Top three teams. Noted : The Champion are not eligible for the Age Group Best Gross Winner 23. PRACTICE ROUND - Special Rate before Official Practice Day (November 25 th, 2013 December 1 st, 2013), price per round below : 1. Mon Thu IDR ,- 3. Saturday Afternoon, Sunday, Public Holiday 2. Friday IDR ,- IDR ,- - Official practice on 02 December Practice should be finished or leave the course before 2 PM. - No multiple ball play shall be allowed during the official practice round. - Players are not allowed to practice on the course after their round on any day of the Championship. - The driving range will be opened at am during the Championship. Range balls are chargeable at IDR ,- per 50 balls. 24. WELCOME RECEPTION All players are invited to Opening & Welcome Reception on 02 December 2013 at the Pondok Indah Golf Club. 25. PRIZE PRESENTATION All players are invited to a Prize Presentation Luncheon on 05 December 2013 at the Pondok Indah Golf Club. 5

6 26. DRESS CODE - Players must be properly attired on the golf course. Blue jeans, designer jeans, round neck T-shirt and tank tops are prohibited. - This dress code will be used in conjunction with any additional dress code restrictions of the host club. A player violating this dress code will not be permitted to start the tournament. A violation of this dress code by player during the stipulated round must be rectified without undue delay or the player will not be allowed to continue play. - Soft spikes shoes are compulsory. 27. CONDUCT OF PLAYERS - All players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, irrespective of how competitive they may be. - Any Action contrary to the spirit of the game such as abusive language, throwing of clubs, or other disruptive behavior, will not be tolerated and may result in a player not being able to continue in this competition. - The use of mobile phones (except in an emergency) and smoking are not allowed on the course. 28. SPECTATORS/ ACCOMPANYING OFFICIALS/PARENTS - Spectators/accompanying official/parents must remain on the cart paths at all times. They must stay off the greens and out of the bunkers at all times. They are prohibited from using golf buggies. - They should maintain a reasonable distance from the players to avoid the appearance that they are imparting advice or assisting the player in any way. They may approach a player for a moment to exchange clothing, food or beverage, but should not have prolonged contact. - Those found violating these policies may be asked to leave the course. 29. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION Local transfer from hotel to club and vice versa will be provided to players staying at the official hotel during the Championship 31. AMENDEMENTS TO CONDITIONS The Committee shall have the right to delete, add to or amend the rules and regulations laid down herein. 32. RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION When the final results sheet is placed on the official notice board, the result of competition is deemed to have been officially announced. 6

INDEMNITY / LIABILITIES The Organizing Committee, Indonesia Golf Association, The Sponsors and The Management of will not be responsible for any loss, damage or harm, or any form of injuries that the participants of the competition may suffer as a result of their participation in this tournament. 7
