2 OUR PROGRAMS Helping people be better prepared members of society through training and life skills. Second Chances provides comprehensive life skills development, job readiness classes, and on-the-job training for single parents, men and women coming out of crisis such as domestic violence, drug/alcohol abuse, physical/sexual abuse, prostitution, homelessness, neglect, incarceration, and rejection from society. Program Classes include: Workplace Norms, Computer Training, Customer Service, Marketing & Retail, Conflict Resolution, Toxic Relationships, Parenting, Budgeting, and Domestic Violence Classes. Recognized Community Based Training Site for Community Service Hours GED Prep & Mentoring Employment: Felon Friendly Voluntary Daily Bible Studies

4 OUR BUSINESSES Providing viable work opportunities for people and offering valuable services to the community Second Chances Thrift Store We sell children s clothes sizes 0 to 14 teen, shoes, toys, cribs, car seats, strollers, and many other children s items, anything you need for your children. We keep our prices affordable for the low income community to which we serve. All inventory is donated gently used items and all proceeds from sales goes directly to fund our programs. Second Chances Cleaning Services We operate an exceptional janitorial cleaning service staffed by single mothers and women changing their lives through a Second Chance at employment. 5 It is a unique organization because they provide low-income families with affordable clothing and supplies for their children and in the process employ and train women so they can become self-sufficient and make a better life for their family. Donate Equipment/Furniture/Clothing: Your donations assist hurting people and the inner city community at large. All Donations are tax deductible! Volunteer: Donate your time and talents or sponsor an event to help a single parent improve their lives and the lives of their children. 100% of our participants enter our program unemployed. After one year, over half of them are employed or enrolled in higher education.
