2 HISTORY Starting maritime activities on 1940 decade Grimaldi Group in different fields: passengers, bulks, general cargoes, tankers, containers, cars and ro-ro cargoes.. Nowadays the Group is specialist in ro-ro shipments and enjoys one of the biggest ro/ro and car carriers fllet all over the world. After developing his Mediterranean services on the sixties, the Group started expanding to other geográfical world areas focusing on ro/ro concepts with the most sofisticated and flexible ro/ro vessels.

3 HISTORY Along the last decade Grimaldi Group made important investments: New vessels Logístics platforms Road transport companies Human Resources. Thus consolidating his leadership in Europe.

4 HISTORY On 1960 the Group reinforces his operations with bulk carriers and tankers (Auriga I, Luigi Grimaldi and Giovanni Grimaldi). Ro/Ro transport expansion took place on 1969 starting a regular service in between Italia and United Kingdon to transport Fiat cars, and later with other car manufacturers in North/Southbound Europe trades.

5 On 1980 builted 5 vessels Reppublica type (Venezia, Pisa, Genova, Amalfi, Roma). On 1990 the two sister ships Spes and Fides (Ro/Ro multipurpose) able to cover all markets needs.

6 THE GROUP TODAY From 1996 to 2012, more than millons invested in construction of new ships, logístic platforms, logístic transport companies,, hardware, software aiming to highly increase the logisitic structure of the Group. In reference to the world maritime industry, Grimaldi Group is : The 1st.Operator in capacity for heavy ro/ro cargoes para carga pesada ro/ro and the 5thin cars transport. The 25thin container transport.. In Italy, the Group is withoout any doubts, leader in the three categories.

Should trailer arriving prior date of shipment, amendment of booking date will be requested for admittance. Full electronic gate in permit, paperless. Similar electronic system being used for quick delivery.

Shipper contracting the booking with Owner, will be the legal party for collection of trailer, truck, car or whatever cargo transported. El entréguese es un mensaje electrónico donde se identificada su empresa, con instrucciones precisas y datos de la persona que retirará el remolque, la tractora que conduce y el remolque a retirar; La Terminal comprobará todos los datos solicitando la identificación de los chóferes al tiempo requerirá su firma, como prueba de la retirada del remolque.
