1 RESISTANCE LEVEL STUDENTS STUDY CARDIORESPIRATORY PJKR STKIP PASUNDAN CIMAHI 2016/2017 ACADEMIC YEAR IS MEASURED USING THE BEEP TEST Akhmad Sobarna Pjkrstkippasundancimahi.ac Abstract This study aims to determine the level of cardiorespiratory endurance student study program PJKR STKIP Pasundan Cimahi Academic Year 2016/2017 were measured using beep test. The population in this study were all new students study program PJKR STKIP son Pasundan Cimahi Academic Year 2016/2017 which amounted to 392 people. Sampling technique used in this study is total sampling, sampling in this study as many as 329 new students study program PJKR STKIP Pasundan Cimahi Academic Year 2016/2017. The instrument used to measure cardiorespiratory endurance is a test Beep Test with the criteria of Davis, at.all (1992). Quantitative descriptive method is used as a method of research to find new students cardiorespiratory endurance. Data from the description indicates that the level of resistance cardiorespiratory for male students, 0% have categories Superior, 3% in the category of Very Good, 7% in the good category, 34% in the Average category, 18% in the category of less and 38% in the category Very Less. Seeing the results of research that has been presented, the need for improvement of cardiorespiratory endurance capability on the student study program PJKR. Keywords: Cardiorespiratory Endurance, Study Program Student PJKR, Beep Test. physical fitness student is very important to support, facilitate and expedite the activities of the lecture. (Private: 2010). Kardiorespirasasi Resilience is one of the aerobic component of physical fitness. Cardiorespiratory endurance is the ability to release energy metabolism is indicated with the ability to work the body relative to efficiency of the blood vessels, heart and lungs in a long time period to describe the ability of muscles to consume oxygen in metabolism, (Adiwinanto, 2008). Capital cardiorespiratory fitness is essential for physical fitness, and even considered synonymous with physical fitness. So with kardiorespirasinya known fitness levels, will show the level of physical fitness, (Suharjana, 2013). The term aerobics is commonly known in Indonesia, and is often associated with a sense of durability, therefore it is known as aerobic endurance. Some other terms are the same sense aerobic capacity, cardiorespiratory fitness, and cardiovascular endurance. Heart lung endurance can be measured by monitoring the maximal oxygen consumption is known in terms of VO2 Max, meaning how the efficiency of the body to use oxygen during physical activity with moderate intensity. Yunus (2002: 63) Rusli Lutan (2001: 8) states, physical fitness components consist of: (1) physical.physically fitness related to health, which contain four principal elements, namely: muscular strength, muscular endurance, aerobic endurance, and flexibility. (2) physical.kebugaran related to performance, contains elements: coordination, agility, speed of movement, and balance. Cardiorespiratory fitness is the most important component and can be regarded as equity capital for one's physical fitness. Cardiorespiratory fitness is also often described as VO2max. According to Ortega, et al (2007), "The maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max) attained during a maximal graded exercise to voluntary exhaustion has long since been Considered by the World Health Organization as the single best indicator of cardiorespiratory fitness". The body's ability to consume the maximal oxygen may increase during the process of motion exercises, and according to the WHO, VO2max is used as an indicator of cardiorespiratory fitness.

2 To see kardiorespitatori resistance ability, a lot of tests that can digunkan, one of them through the beep test, or tests graded. Back, Ortega, et al (2008) states that, "The VO2max can be estimated using maximal or submaximal tests, by direct or indirect methods. The most commonly used tests are walking / running tests Followed by cycling and step tests ". VO2 Max as an indicator of cardiorespiratory endurance can be measured and estimated by maximal or submaximal test with direct or indirect method. And the most common way is to use the test / run terraced. One of them is the beep test. Therefore, new students Study program PJKR STKIP Pasundan Cimahi always facilitated to conduct tests beep test to see kardiorespirasinya resistance. Cardiorespiratory endurance on a student program PJKR studies are needed to prepare for the lectures every day that contain kecabangan practice sports. If cardiorespiratory endurance PJKR Study Program students who entered the school year 2016/2017 is less, then in the course need to be adjusted with a program to increase student cardiorespiratory endurance. Wahjoedi (2000: 61) states that among the components of physical fitness, heart-lung endurance (cardiorespiratory) are considered essential components in physical fitness. The same thing also expressed by the Ministry of Education (2000: 53) that cardiorespiratory endurance is a major factor in physical fitness. Cardiorespiratory endurance is the maximum amount a person work force that can be performed continuously using a number of big muscles and depends on the body's ability to use oxygen efficiently. Pekik (2004: 27). Lutan (2001: 39) states that the technical means understanding cardio (heart), vascular (blood vessel), respiratory (lung and ventilation) and aerobic (with oxygen to work), the term is related to each other. Cardiorespiratory endurance is the capacity of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels to function optimally while doing everyday activities in a long time without experiencing fatigue which means (Wahjoedi, 2000: 59). Effects of physical activity, exercise, and exercise is aerobic is cardiorespiratory fitness, because the sport is able to increase the uptake of oxygen, increasing the capacity of blood to carry oxygen and pulse rate will be lower at rest and activity. Among other benefits, aerobics can increase the number of capillaries, lowers the amount of fat in the blood and increase fat-burning enzymes in other words Resilience kardiorespirasinya (VO2max) increased (Hermina 2014) Someone who has a heart-lung endurance is good, it will not rapidly exhausted after conducting a series of activities. Quality of cardiopulmonary endurance expressed in VO2max, which is the maximum amount of oxygen that can be taken up in units of ml / KgBW / min. Sharkey (2003). Effects of physical activity, exercise, and exercise is aerobic is cardiorespiratory fitness, because the sport is able to increase the uptake of oxygen, increasing the capacity of blood to carry oxygen and pulse rate will be lower at rest and activity. Among other benefits, aerobics can increase the number of capillaries, lowers the amount of fat in the blood and increase fat-burning enzymes in other words Resilience kardiorespirasinya (VO2max) increased (Hermina 2014). METHODS Descriptive research method used in this study. Data is measured by measuring the ability of VO2max new students academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 329 people, the population. The instrument used to measure the ability of VO2max is to use the test beep test of Davis, at.all (1992). Sample of this research is the total amount of population is 329 people who were taken with less total sampling. Calculations using the descriptive data on the percentage of each of the criteria of ability to VO2 Max. RESULT The results of this study in the form of a percentage overview description of each criterion ability to VO2 Max on new students PJKR Study Program 2016/2017 academic year have been measured with a test beep test. Data are presented by calculating the percentage of VO2max scores on student acquisition of as

3 many as 329 people. In Table 1. Explaining the description of data acquisition VO2 Max score obtained by a group of men in the study program students PJKR the academic year 2016/2017. Table 2. Acquisition of VO2 Max score on male students descriptive Statistics N Minimum Maximum Sum Mean Std. Deviation Variance VO2Max_Pura Valid N 392 (listwise) From the description of the data in Table 1. It can be seen a minimum score obtained by the new student Study program PJKR of 18 and a maximum score of 54 with an overall average of To clarify the distribution of the data obtained, a table 2. 4 Figure 1. Percentage Score Criteria Ability VO2max in Student Men Based on the percentage of the data presented in the diagram shown in Figure 1. The acquisition of VO2 Max that male students gained as much as 0 votes 0% had a Superior category, 10 students of 3% in the category of Very Good, 27 students of 7% in the category Good, 32 mahaiswa by 34% in the Medium category, 19 students by 18% in the category of Less and 39 students by 38% in the category Very Less DISCUSSION From the research, shows that the level of cardiorespiratory endurance in the category of very less. Many factors influence it might have happened. The retention rate cardiorespiratory (VO2max) the highest is the resistance of Cardiorespiratory average, where the results are influenced by the restriction factors that may affect Endurance Cardiorespiratory (VO2max), such as mass index Body, Gender, Age, Race, (Mulyadin, 2015 ). People with a good fitness level has a higher VO2max values and able to perform more strongly than those who are not in good condition (Rodrigues AN 2006). Not semuan new students study program PJKR STKIP Pasundan Cimahi background berlahraga belakangya always active, and therefore could have been factors can also affect the level of cardiorespiratory endurance. Someone who has a heart-lung endurance is good, it will not rapidly exhausted after conducting a series of activities. Quality of cardiopulmonary endurance expressed in VO2max, which is the maximum amount of oxygen that can be taken up in units of ml / KgBW / min. Sharkey (2003). If students have previously been accustomed to physical activity, then it is likely to get a high score on the acquisition of cardiorespiratory endurance level test results using beepest. For everyday activities, must have a minimum of physical or physical abilities that have always supported the demands of the routine activities and of course better if had reserves. Their physical abilities exceed the minimum requirement, ensure the smooth running of tasks and welfare because they can perform additional tasks after performing routine activities, this is known as physical fitness. (Eden, 2011). In the lecture, held in the course PJKR STKIP pasundan Cmahi, most lectures are perkuliaha containing kecabangan practice sport, therefore, to be expected when the lecture held, then the level of cardiorespiratory endurance students will also be increased CONCLUSION Cardiorespiratory endurance level for students has a category Superior 0%, 3% in the category of Very Good, 7% in the Good category, 34% in the Medium category, 18% in less category and 38% in the category Very Less. Overall, it can be concluded that the level of cardiorespiratory endurance to new students study program PJKR STKIP Pasundan Cimahi academic year 2016/2017 in the category Very Less.
