Throughout my career as a professor, administrator, counselor, and teacher, I have come to understand the threads of teaching and learning that bind us together as a learning community. Dissertation and Research Areas Moral Disengagement: An Exploratory Study of Predictive Factors for Digital Aggression and Cyberbullying (George, 2014). Research interests include transformational leadership, school leadership and the effect of school leadership on teaching and learning in a physical or virtual learning environment; the effect of student behavior in a virtual learning environment on teaching and learning (academic achievement); and in the relationships formed between leadership, teaching and learning in the pursuit of student achievement. I recently developed the first fully online doctoral course; EDAD 6100, Theories of Organizational Development and Reform. The course has been developed as a first of three fully online courses to be offered through the Education Leadership program. 3 Member of a UNT research team, through UNT-I, the Political Science Department and CLEAR, to teach accepted research methodology to students in Free Tbilisi University in the country of Georgia through a virtual classroom and then to teach these researchers classroom teaching methodology for use in a face-to-face and online environment. Leadership as Graduate Student Presenter, Instructor, Mentor, Appraiser, and Advisor Education Leadership Conference (2014), Co-Coordinator, for annual leadership conference with featured speaker Michael Fullan. IREX and the Muskie Max Mentor Exchange program (US State Department) grant recipient to present a series of workshops regarding the use of 21 st century instructional pedagogy in the university classroom. Over 200 faculty members and doctoral students from Tbilisi State University in the Republic of Georgia participated in the workshops. An additional seminar was provided to university administrators from multiple colleges and universities in Georgia at the Ministry of Education to present an instructional model of professional development that increases the rigor of instruction in the university classroom (April/May, 2014).
