3 The schedule Monday, Tuesday, wednesday and Thursday: Welcome between 8.05 and 8.35 Lessons between 8.35 until lunch break and then until Meals: service of CP from to (1hour to eat and play) Friday: Welcome between 8.05 and 8.35 Lessons between 8.35 and 12.15

14 What will change in First Grade? The teaching areas are different Even if there is still group work, the main learning will be no longer systematically done in workshops as in the Kindergarten. The children are no longer welcomed in their class rooms, but in the playground. The playtime is shorter (15 min X 2 of playtime in first grade, 2 x 30 min Kindergarten)

21 The homework Every night, all children have to read a little bit. The homework should not last longer than 30min per day. It is important that your child is able to read to you what he/she has learned during the day. (or another adult who speaks French) If you note any difficulties do not hesitate to contact his/her teacher Always think that: learn to read is a complex, long and difficult activity that the child can not do by imitation.
