5 Rapid Deployment Solutions 1 Purpose of the Document This document contains all information to: Validate that key prerequisites such as software products and versions match the customer situation Check that all prerequisites for a customer implementation are in place Check that correct content, tools and skills are in place before the project starts The document lists different kinds of requirements on level if they are valid for all scope items included in the. For requirements valid for certain scope items only, these scope items are mentioned. The document contains pre-requisites only, not the procedures to meet them. For how-to information (e.g. how to find the download area) please refer to the configuration guides. 2 General Project Prerequisites Before talking to the detail prerequisites, below table describes the scope items for this HANA Live RDS : Scope Item ID Scope Item Description HANA Live Reports HANA Live Applications The following prerequisites need to be in place before an implementation project can start. Connection from source system and HANA system If it is not a Suite-on-HANA scenario, i.e., side-by-side, then SLT is needed to setup connection from Business Suite systems to HANA system. Please refer to Configuration Guide HA1 and Quick Guide for detailed information. 2. Connection from BOBJ BI Platform to HANA system. The connections from BOBJ BI Platform to HANA system need to be updated after deployment of the reports. Please refer to Quick Guide for more information. 3. Connection from Lumira/Predictive Analysis Reports to HANA system. The connections from Lumira/Predictive Analysis Reports to HANA system need to be set when you run the report for the first time, and need to point to your own HANA box.
