1 South Dakota Safety Council Streaming Video Program Members Only User Guide ** Make sure your browser is up to date before accessing streaming videos. An out of date browser may lead to error messages when previewing or playing videos. First time Users Go to the South Dakota Safety Council s homepage. Click the link Streaming Video Access. Fill out the form with your contact information so we can verify your membership. Click the Submit Request Form button. Within the next business day, you will receive a welcome from Art at Aurora Pictures. Now your streaming access is activated. Logging In Once you have your user name and password, you can simply go to to sign in to your account. Bookmark this page! Click the Login link in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Enter your user name and password from Art s welcome in the Returning Customer section. When you sign in the first time, you will see the My Account page. You will notice that your bill to and ship to address is going to be set to the South Dakota Safety Council. This indicates that you are accessing videos through our plan and will not be charged separately for your views. Please do not change this information. 2 Searching for Streaming Videos Click on Home to go to Aurora s home page or Safety Products to see the available topics. Click on a topic category or use the keyword search on the upper left side of the screen to find a video you would like to stream. If you hover over a picture, the Quick Preview pop up window will open with a short description of the video. You can click on the Quick Preview link to view a clip of the video. This is helpful if you re browsing several videos to find the one you want to use in your training. South Dakota Safety Council Streaming Video User Guide 2

3 Once you find a video that you would like to use in training, click on the title of the video. This takes you to a page with the full description of the program. Most programs also have a Leader Guide PDF that you can download. Eligible videos will have the orange Rental Plan badge as above. South Dakota Safety Council Streaming Video User Guide 3

4 Ordering Your Streaming Video Select your language. Select Streaming. Select Rental. Enter a quantity of 1. Click the Add to Cart button. (NOTE: When the next screen comes up, if there is a price of anything other than $0.00 at this point, the video you have selected is not available in the rental plan. Please select another video.) 5 The next screen asks you to verify your ship to address. Again, your user name and password defaults to the South Dakota Safety Council address in Sioux Falls. Click Continue. Select Ground Shipping. You won t be shipped anything, this is just part of the checkout process. Click Continue through the next two screens and then click Place Order to finalize your request for a streaming video. South Dakota Safety Council Streaming Video User Guide 5

6 Watching Your Video To watch your video(s), click on the Video Now link in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Select the video that you want to play, then click on the play button. If you are in Full Screen mode, just press the ESC key to exit Full Screen. Videos will be on your Video Now queue for one complete business day. If you happen to need more time, just request to stream it again in a time period that coincides better with your training, or you can also rent it from our Video Library to receive it on DVD. If you would like to view a history of videos that you have streamed, just click My Account in the upper right hand corner of your screen, and then click on Reorder Items in the left navigation. 7 (The Reorder Items screen has a screenshot and the title of the video, as above. The Order History link does not include the names of the videos you have streamed, only the product number.) To reorder a video, just click on the Add To Cart button and go through the checkout process.
