Thrower-in A1 shoves defensive player B1 with her free arm and displaces her. RULING: Player control foul on A Team control does not exist during a throw-in. 23. After a head coach has lost his coaching box privileges, he may legally use the coaching box to replace or remove a disqualified player. 24. While A1 is dribbling in A s backcourt, the ball legally touches B1 s leg, causing it to bounce away from A1. A1 quickly recovers the ball with two hands and then starts another dribble. RULING: Since the ball was touched by B, the official should start a new 10-second backcourt count. 35. It is a technical foul if a player leaves the court for an unauthorized reason. 36. If an opponent of the thrower reaches through the throw-in boundary plane and fouls the thrower, it is a technical foul. 37. A8 reports to the table.
