7 Our new Energy Policy Aéroports de Paris is committed to: Decreasing the per passenger CO 2 emissions of its airport infrastructure by 50% between 2009 and 2020, while developing its traffic Improve energy efficiency by 1.5% per year over the period 2016 to 2020, representing a reduction of some 15% between 2009 and 2020 Ensure a 15% share of renewable energy in the overall consumption of the airports by 2020 Our objective by 2030 Carbon neutrality with growth in traffic absorbed : Airport Carbon Accreditation level 3+ achieved for our 3 main airports 7

11 Indirect emissions - aircraft Airport-CDM (Collaboratice Decision Management) - local management of departures Reducing average taxiing time by 10% by 2015 Reduction in fuel consumption: 17,000 tons of CO 2 saved per year Participation in green taxiing simulations Ground power supply Hz 100% terminal aircraft stands are equipped with 400 Hz power socket in 2014, giving electric power to the aircraft when parked Hall M offers air conditioning equipment (PCA) on the ground 11

16 Balanced approach 1 OBJECTIVE > To prohibit or limit construction around the airport to avoid increasing the population subjected to noise pollution TOOL : Noise Exposure Plan (PEB) defines 4 zones for construction regulations OBJECTIVE > To protect the airport neighboring residents exposed TOOLS : Tax on air noise pollution (TNSA) paid by airlines for each take-off + Noise Nuisance Plan (PGS) defines 3 zones for the eligibility for financial aid 1 2 OBJECTIVE > To reduce noise pollution TOOLS : Ban on most noisy aircraft OBJECTIVE > Increasing trafic while limiting noise pollution TOOL : weighted measure-based overall indicator (IGMP) 3 4 OBJECTIVE > To decrease noise impact on the local residential areas TOOLS : Continous Descent Approach + Rise of ILS interception height+ Use of two independent pairs of parallel runways+operating restrictions - Prohibition of engine tests between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. - Special procedures for take-off and initial climb compulsory for all airlines - Ban on certain trajectories between 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. +Environment Protection Airspace (2003): designed to limit flight-path dispersion OBJECTIVE > Financial measures to encourage fleet renewal and respect of regulations TOOLS : Tax incentives: landing fees are multiplied by a coefficient based on the aircraft s noise classification and the moment of the day: coefficient range ACNUSA fines
