With over 20 years experience in the counseling field and eight years experience here on campus, we are excited to be a part of your child s academic success. Please ensure that students are in the appropriate school colors and uniforms. Jackets need to be the school colors navy, burgundy, and white or black no logo. If you need further assistance regarding uniforms, please contact the middle school office for further information. We are seeking 6th -12th graders who have the ability to sing and dance to perform on October 28 th as part of the Art Unveiling for the Grand Slam the following evening. It is a great opportunity for students and will count as community service. Tryouts will be on September 27 from 4:15 until 5:15.

4 Every student is responsible for writing their homework in their student planner. Please review your child s planner daily to assure they are completing all of their assignments. 5 Hello Agassi Prep Family, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself, I am Kimberly Adams. I have worked with parents and Parent groups in a school setting for over five years. As Parent Liaison at Agassi Prep one of my responsibilities will be talking with you about ways to get involved with our school. It is important to note that each Agassi Prep family is responsible for completing twelve (12) hours of yearly volunteer hours. To meet this extremely important goal there will be events, projects, trainings, and activities planned. Some examples of service needed are as follows: AM & PM Traffic assistance, Chaperoning field trips, Field Day, lunchroom supervision, Booster Club activities, participation on a Cadre, and many, many more. Our student s deserve the best, and to achieve the goal of being not just the best school in the state of Nevada but, the United States. We need ACTIVE participation. It is my goal to promote open communication and understanding between parents, community, and staff of Agassi Prep. The entire Agassi staff is dedicated to enhance and maximize the education of every child while aiding them in achieving their highest potential. This is where you can come in...i truly understand how daunting volunteering can be. Questions such as: "How much time are we talking about here?", "Will I be required to take on event or committee responsibilities?", or something as simple as, "What exactly is required of me? are all very normal. I am here to assure you that I will never force anyone to dedicate more time than they are willing, or to be coerced into any undertaking that they are not comfortable with. ANY time that YOU are willing to offer is most valuable to OUR success! Volunteering doesn't mean a huge time commitment. We have tasks that can be performed in the evenings, during the day, and some that do not involve your coming on campus at all (those opportunities will be few).
