2 LEARN TO EARN THE BUSINESS RESOURCE CENTRE ZAKHELE PROJECT & KHANYA CREATIONS Learn to Earn as an organisation believes that unemployed people need to be given fishing rods rather than fish a principle that is lived out through our motto of a hand up not a hand out. Through our Learn to Earn Business Resource Centre (BRC) Zakhele Project, based in Khayelitsha and Hermanus, we look to fulfil this model by assisting as many of our Learn to Earn production line class graduates as possible to convert their newly acquired skills into income generating activities. Zakhele means to build up and by providing our graduates with a factory environment we give them access to an economic pond in which they learn to fish competently before being placed into permanent employment. In having your conference bags and promotional items made by Learn to Earn BRC you are helping to create that pond. All sales proceeds are used to fund the project to help it be a sustainable business enterprise in its own right. Learn to Earn is a skills development organisation working with unemployed people from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We seek to develop people, especially unemployed people socially, economically, emotionally and spiritually. This is done through our holistic skills development and training programmes in which life and business skills play an integral part. Quantities and styles are dependent on the banners that have been donated to LtE. If your company has advertising banners that you would like us to use for your bags please let us know. LANYARDS Lanyards can be added to your choice of conference bags. Your conference name or business logo can be printed on the lanyard. NOTES AND TERMS & CONDITIONS All quoted prices exclude shipping/courier/postage or customs charges. All prices quoted on attached order form exclude VAT (value added tax). Prices are subject to change at the discretion of Learn to Earn. A 50% deposit will be required before manufacturing commences. The deposit amount will be calculated based on the final quote. Quotes can only be generated once you have completed a BRC Client Detail form. Unless otherwise agreed, a minimum order of 50 units is required. Extras may include company logo, sponsor or conference name. These can be added either through digital printing, screen printing or embroidery and are quoted separately. Please note that this can add an additional week onto the quoting and manufacturing processes. Bead work or button embellishments are quoted on an individual basis. Learn to Earn reserves the right to use images of the completed product as well as the manufacturing process to advertise the work of Learn to Earn and The Business Resource Centre. We are export registered. All conference bags and items are available in a variety of materials including Cotton Twill, Poly Cotton or Nylon Polyester fabrics, with a jute or nylon strap and come in in the following colours: Choc Brown, Black, Turquoise, Pink, Orange, Red, Denim, Lime Fabric prices may change, depending on fabric type, colour and availability and are at the discretion of the fabric suppliers. #10.3.
