2 ITB BERLIN The ITB Berlin is the leading trade show for the international tourism industry. For more than 40 years, the show caters to trade professionals and individual visitors, it has been meeting point for the trade, market place and source of inspiration. Visitors to the ITB rank the cultural tourism segment second on their popularity scale. A good reason for using this high-class context to present your cultural events and projects. According to the German Tourist Board s figures, about 45% of the total turnover in German tourism are earned with culture-oriented vacations and city trips. And yet, the enormous potential of the growing successful cooperation between culture and tourism partners is far from being fully tapped.

3 A HALL FOR CULTURE! The CULTURE LOUNGE offers in its eight year once again ideal requirements for exhibitors to present current culture projects, upcomming exhibitions and new destinations in cultural tourism to the industry and media, but also to the consumer. The approved module system offers an individual fitting setting for every exhibitor. The platform is organized by the projekt2508 GmbH in Bonn and is official cultural partner of the ITB. In the year 2015 it is for the first time located in the new hall for culture (Hall 16). MEETING POINT BETWEEN CULTURE AND TRAVEL INDUSTRY Meet cultural travel organizers, important multipliers and individual visitors in the CULTURE LOUNGE, be it for a chat at your booth, or a meeting in. All important cultural travel organizers receive advance invitations to the fair. Travel organizers who are not able to visit the ITB Berlin will have the opportunity to obtain information on the exhibitors from us. MEETING POINT FOR THE MEDIA The ITB receives worldswide media attention. Use this opportunity with a particular press release in the CULTURE LOUNGE press kit, on display in the press center's pigeon hole. You can also rent your individual pigeon hole in the CULTURE LOUNGE. All relevant media and journalists are invited to the fair in advance. CULTURE CAFÉ A place for your meetings and invidual appointments: the café area, located inside the CULTURE LOUNGE. Apart from beverages and litte snacks, every exhibitor and his guests receive daily a free light lunch as well as fresh fruit. CULTURE CONFERENCE LOUNGE Present your project or an exciting subject in the CULTURE CONFERENCE LOUNGE: a space for all exhibitors, suitabe for press conferences, talks, presentations and network meetings. The room offers the latest technical equipment and seats for over 40 persons.
