This program is the work of many people to include our Vice-Chairs, Linda Jellum of Mercer University, John Bielema of the Federal Bar Association and the Honorable Patrick Woodard, State Administrative Law Judge and Chair of the Georgia State Bar Administrative Law Section. A panel of administrative law judges will share with the attendees effective techniques and approaches that lawyers may wish to consider in their regulatory advocacy. The panel will look at the "best practices" aspects of their interaction with administrative judges and federal district court judges. Also, the panel will examine some approaches that they see as useful for private counsel to take in their representation of clients before their agencies. Finally, the panel will discuss new regulations that have recently been issued by their agencies that are particularly noteworthy.
