Commuter routes pick up at bus stops around Elk Grove, including 14 Park and Ride lots. Acceptable ID for seniors include: RT Senior photo ID card, Medicare card, State of CA ID card, Senior ID card issued by other transit agency or passport. Persons with Disabilities $1.10 Driver may request ID to verify. Acceptable ID for persons with disabilities include: e-tran Senior and persons with disabilities card, RT Disabled photo ID card, Dept. of Motor Vehicles Disabled Placard ID card, Medicare Card or Disabled ID card issued by another transit agency. Issued only when boarding buses. Valid for 120 minutes and may only be used once. They must be surrendered to the bus operator upon boarding another e-tran bus. e-tran also accepts SCT/LINK, Fairfield/Suisun Transit System, Capitol Corridor and Amtrak California transfers as base fare for one trip in the e-tran service area (full fare required for transfer to a second e-tran route.) e-tran transfers are accepted by Fairfield/Suisun Transit System and SCT/LINK at shared stops. e-tran transfers are NOT valid on Yolobus, Yuba/Sutter Transit, El Dorado Transit, ARTS, or Roseville Transit. RT Passes and Tickets are accepted by e-tran RT Single Fare Tickets Valid for 120 minutes from time of validation. Tickets must be validated (date and time stamped) by the fare vending machine at the rail station. RT Prepaid Single Ride Tickets and Daily Passes Must be surrendered to bus operator. For prepaid daily pass users, passenger will receive a stamped RT daily pass valid for the day redeemed. 1 1

There are 14 Park & Ride lots in Elk Grove where you can leave your car and catch e-tran. Emergency Ride Home is for employees that use alternative transportation (i.e. transit, biking, walking or ridesharing) to work and require a safety net to get home in an emergency when transit is not operating. 5 Midday Trips to Downtown Sacramento e-tran Commuter Routes run Monday through Friday during commute hours. If you need to travel to downtown Sacramento midday Monday through Friday, use e-tran Local Route 156 or Regional Transit Route 65 then transfer to RT light rail at the Meadowview Station. Wireless Alerts e-tran riders can receive wireless messages to text-enabled devices like cell phones, PDAs and pagers, regarding delays on e-tran routes and other important e-tran information. SERVICES FOR SENIORS AND PERSON WITH DISABILITIES Accessibility Commuter Service to Galt Thanks to a partnership between e-tran and SCT/LINK, Galt Residents can commute to downtown Sacramento via SCT/LINK Hwy 99 Express and e-tran Routes 52 and 60. Several AM and PM trips are timed to meet at Elk Grove Blvd. and Emerald Vista Dr. For additional details, call (916) 68ETRAN or Bike Racks Each e-tran bus has a bike rack that can accommodate two bicycles.
