1 NCTest Client and Message List To access this address you must use the NCTest, the NCTest Chrome App, or the approved tablet apps for and Android devices. If the required secure platform is not installed and access to this address is required for assessment activities in North Carolina, contact your local district test coordinator or school test coordinator for assistance. NCTest browser and/or operating system check failed. NCTest may not work as designed on this browser and/or operating system. You have been marked as "Absent From Makeup" and may not take this test. There is no session scheduled for this course. Attempting to access NCTest without the secure browser or one of the apps. Either the device was not able to access the server at the time of the operating system check due to network connectivity issues OR the operating system is not supported. Student is marked absent from makeup. Either there is no test session window scheduled, OR the window was scheduled the same day so it has not been pulled from NC Education yet OR the current day is not included in the test session window. An unsupported browser Use the, NCTest, Chrome on a ChromeBook, or the NCTest App. Contact the LEA TC for a copy of the correct NCTest install or visit the appropriate App store for the most recent version of the NCTest App. Ensure appropriate operating system is running (error will appear every time the browser is launched on that machine). If error is not consistently appearing on the machine, check network connections and connectivity. Machine may need to be re-booted to correct the issue. Refer to technical specifications found at Student records should never be marked Absent from Make-up before the test window closes. If Absent was marked incorrectly, the LEA TC/TA can unlock the record, uncheck the Absent mark and Sync the student. The student should then be able to take the assessment. The LEA TC must check/edit Test Window Scheduler at least one day before the date of the test. LEA TC/TA may alter test window scheduler using Sync tool ONLY if a window has previously been scheduled
