This club is for beginners and experienced quilters. Come exchange ideas and show your creations. Bring a friend. Instructor: Jan Franklin & Carolyn Binkley Dates: 2nd Monday each month Time: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm FOOT OF THE MONTH INTERMEDIATE SEWING Take the next step in sewing. Learn how to construct a shirt with collar, sleeves, facings, button & button holes. Learn to put in waist bands. Class fee: $55.00 Dates: Sat. May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st if needed 2:15 pm to 5:00 pm BASIC SEWING CLASS In this class you will learn how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, stitch seams, circles, corners and get familiar with all the parts of your machine. You will also learn how to read patterns. Projects for this class will be a heart shaped pincushion and tote bag. Class Fee: $50.00 (includes all materials) Dates: Sat. Feb. 23rd, March 1st, 8th & 15th 2:15 pm to 4:30 pm 4 ZIPPER PURSE Make this purse with 4 zipper pockets and several outer pockets. Great when you don t want to take a big purse, just big enough for billfold and credit cards. Use the decorative stitches to embellish the front flap. April 9th 9:30 am to 3 pm STACK-N-WHACK The Stack-n-Whack method used to create these designs involves layering and cutting fabric repeats with standard rotary cutting equipment. The resulting blocks are all unique. Cut your favorite vest pattern fronts and be creative. After creating the new fabric, you will embellish each seam with braids, decorative stitches, cording and more.
