1 United Way Designation Codes Last update: The most powerful way to impact your community is to donate directly to United Way of Wyandotte County (UWWC). UWWC is driven by the Wyandotte County community. The community determines the needed solutions and makes funding decisions in three key impact areas: Meeting Basic Needs, Nurturing Children and Families, and Improving Health and Quality of Life. 100 United Way of Wyandotte County 101 Meeting Basic Needs 102 Nurturing Children & Families 103 Improving Health & Quality of Life United Way of Wyandotte County Partner Agencies We request that you contribute a minimum of $100 per charity or other United Way to help hold down administrative costs. United Way retains 17.6% of these designated pledges to cover fundraising and administrative costs. If a Donor Designation Form is unreadable or incomplete, or if a donor designates to a non-eligible charity, we will attempt to contact the donor. If the donor cannot be contacted, we will direct the contribution to the UWWC impact areas listed above. 120 American Red Cross, Eastern KS Chapter 130 Bethel Neighborhood Center 155 Boy Scouts Of America, Heart of America 145 Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater KC 170 Camp Fire USA 175 Cancer Action, Inc. 255 CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties 185 Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas 292 Cross-Lines Community Outreach, Inc. 487 Cultivate Kansas City, Inc. 290 Duchesne Clinic 291 Economic Opportunity Foundation, Inc. 295 El Centro, Inc Friends of Yates, Inc. 580 Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri 482 Kansas City Community Gardens, Inc. 510 Kansas Legal Services, Inc. 494 KCK Huggers, Inc./Special Olympics 815 KVC Prairie Ridge Hospital 344 Love Outreach International Ministries 550 Mattie Rhodes Center 480 Mental Health America of the Heartland
