2 NEUROIMMUNOLOGY COURSE OUTLINE This course focuses on the interaction between the immune and nervous systems at molecular, cellular and systems levels. It provides an overview of current and developing concepts in Neuroimmunology from both Neuroscience and Immunology perspectives. It aims to familiarise participants with - The molecular and cellular elements of interconnectivity between the immune and nervous systems and - The effect of neuro-immuno interaction on physiological responses and disease processes The course comprises 10 x 3hr seminar-style sessions designed to encourage interaction and discussion between lecturers and participants A outline of the content and schedule for each of the seminars is indicated below.
