Take a seat in the well at Old Bailey, sitting near the barristers trying the case. Tour 1C: Royal Courts of Justice Strand, London, WC2A 2LL Visit the Royal Courts of Justice, one of the London s most spectacular buildings, and among the largest courts in Europe with over 1,000 rooms and three and a half miles of corridors. Marvel at the lavish Great Hall, intricate tiled floors and oak paneled courtrooms. View the costume display showing the different robes and wigs that are worn by the judges. Attend a court proceeding. View the original court documents relating to the infamous Guy Fawkes case. And enjoy the famous art displayed within the Courts walls. 1:00-7:00 p.m. On Your Own 7:00-9:30 p.m. Tour 1A: The Supreme Court of England and Wales Parliament Square, London SW1P 3BD Visit the beautiful courtrooms of the Supreme Court of England and Wales as well as the magnificent Justices Library. Receive an introduction to the Court s role in the UK justice system, and learn about the history and artwork of the building. Tour 1B: Central London Criminal Court The Old Bailey Old Bailey, London EC4M Visit the Central Criminal Court of England and Wales, commonly known as the Old Bailey. Named after the street on which it stands, The Old Bailey is one of a number of buildings Reception and Dinner Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese 145 Fleet Street, London EC4A 2BU Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese has stood on the same spot on Fleet Street for centuries. It is the oldest pub in London and has survived through the reign of 15 monarchs. With its rich history and labyrinth of passages and staircases, you will enjoy dinner in the greatest historical pub in London.

3 WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12 9:00 a.m. - 6:45 p.m. (approximate) Thursday Continued: 6:30-10:00 p.m. Day trip to Runnymede and Windsor Castle Site of the signing of the Magna Carta, and Windsor Castle The tour departs from the Athenaeum Hotel & Residences at 9:00 am. We will travel on coach buses to the Runnymede-on- Thames Hotel in Surrey. After refreshments, we will board a boat for a river cruise past Runnymede, the site of the signing of the Magna Carta over 800 years ago. During the boat cruise, The Reverend and Valiant Master of the Temple Robin Griffith- Jones will discuss the rich history of Runnymede and the Magna Carta s Impact on the Rule of Law. A buffet style lunch will be served during the river cruise. Reception and Dinner The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple Crown Office Row, London EC4Y 7HL The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, commonly known as Inner Temple, is one of the four Inns of Court in London. After a short musical performance in The Temple Church (as seen in the movie The DaVinci Code ) we will dine in the Main Hall of the Inner Temple with the Chief Justice of the U.K. Supreme Court. Join us for a wonderful evening of music and fine dining. The cruise will end at the base of Royal Windsor High Street, a 5-10 minute walk to Windsor Castle. Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world, has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years. You will visit the Castle Precincts, the State Apartments and St George s Chapel. A multimedia tour will provide lively commentary on the Castle s history, from William the Conqueror, through medieval expansion, George IV s Gothic transformation and The Queen s use of the Castle today. Coach buses will depart Windsor at approximately 5:15 p.m. for return to London.
