The Intensive Course is a half-day general Spanish course of 20 lessons per week. The course covers the four main skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. It is taught within a communicative framework. Four extra culture lessons per week are included in the tuition fees. WEEKS MADRID SALAMANCA - ALICANTE TEACHER TRAINING COURSE FOR NON-NATIVE SPANISH SPEAKERS. MADRID. This course is designed for Spanish teachers who want to refresh their knowledge or to incorporate new methodologies, classroom activities and materials. The objective is to acquire new ideas and share teaching experiences. The course is taught in Spanish. Students need to have at least a high-intermediate (B2) level of Spanish. DATES 2015 WEEKS FEE (in Euros) June 28 - July June 28 - July Fees include: 20 lessons per week. Half-board accommodation with a Spanish family in a single room. Course materials. 8. UNIVERSITY PREPARATION COURSE. MADRID - ALICANTE. From June 2015 to June 2016, this course prepares students for entrance exams to public and private universities in Spain. The course includes Spanish Lessons (8, 12 or 16 weeks) at Estudio Sampere, in order to a achieve a B1 high-intermediate level, and a 9-month university preparation and foundation course in a specialized study center. Students will take the official National access exam and/or the specific entrance test at the desired university. Both take place in June 2015 for the academic course starting in September. This is a combination of 4 to 8 weeks of the Intensive Course and 6 to 12 weeks of unpaid internship in a company in Madrid. Students need an intermediate level (B1) before starting the internship. 6 Page 6 ACCOMMODATION IN SPAIN 1. FAMILY HOME-STAY. Host families are selected based on high quality standards of accommodation, under direct management of Estudio Sampere staff. Locations in Salamanca and Alicante are all at a walking distance from the School. In Madrid, family homes are no more than 30 minutes away from the school by public transport. ADOLFO SUÁREZ MADRID-BARAJAS AIRPORT TO BUS/TRAIN STATION, IN MADRID, AND BUS/TRAIN STATION IN SALAMANCA TO ACCOMMODATION: 95 EUROS (BUS/TRAIN TICKET INCLUDED). Arrival (BEFORE 16:00h, 4pm) and Departure (AFTER 12:00h, 12am). ALICANTE. EL ALTET AIRPORT TO ACCOMMODATION: 55 EUROS. AIRPORT TRANSFER IS INCLUDED IN LONG-TERM COURSE, JUNIOR & TEEN AND SENIOR PROGRAMS. TRANSFERS: Estudio Sampere will be responsible for transfers from the airport to accommodation or train/bus station, if we receive the following information at least FIVE days before arrival in Spain: 1) Date and Time of Arrival; 2) Airline and Flight Number; 3) Airport of origin. All transfers are one way. In Madrid and Alicante, two students travelling together and staying at the same accommodation will pay as a single person. The Transfer service is only available on Saturdays and Sundays, from 08:00h (8am) to 23:00h (11pm). Students arriving before 08:00h (8am) will have to wait at the airport. Students arriving after 23:00h (11pm) or on any other day have to pay an extra charge of 25 Euros. Transfer from accommodation to the airport is also available, only on Saturdays and Sundays, for departure times from 08:00h (8am) to 23:00h (11pm), at the same price. Students departing before 08:00h (8am) or after 23:00h (11pm), or on any other day have to pay an extra charge of 25 Euros. INSURANCE IN SPAIN For Spain, Estudio Sampere has arranged an insurance policy in conjunction with a Spanish insurance company. This covers any student aged 13 to 75 years enrolled in a Spanish Language Course at one of our schools in Spain. The cost of the insurance is 55 Euros for every 16 weeks (1 to 16 weeks). Estudio Sampere insurance is compulsory for students who require a visa. The European Health Insurance Card makes it easier for people from the European Union s 28 Member States plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland to access healthcare services during temporary visits abroad. Please, make sure that you have obtained your card. It will help you save time and money, if you fall ill or suffer an injury while in Spain.

8 Conditions of enrollment All enrollments are subject to these conditions. HOW TO ENROLL Complete personal details on the registration form. Choose the city and the course/s you wish to attend. Select the start date and duration of your course. Choose the preferred accommodation option, if needed. Please, include meal plan, whether or not you smoke, allergies and any other special requests. This information will help to ensure a compatible placement in a home-stay. Complete arrival details and decide if you would like a transfer service on arrival. Return the registration form to our representative in your country or to Estudio Sampere (and follow the instructions of our representative or of Estudio Sampere for payment). CONFIRMATION When the registration form is received and accepted, the following documents will be sent to our representative or to you: Invoice for the full amount of the fees due. Accommodation address. Student handbook with directions, maps and important information about your stay in Spain. If a STUDENT VISA is required, we can only send these documents after we have received a deposit of 500 Euros. If your Visa application is refused by the Spanish Embassy or Consulate, we will refund the deposit and any other paid fees after the deduction of an administrative charge of 250 Euros, after receiving the refusal letter from the Spanish Embassy or Consulate. CONDITIONS OF ENROLLMENT Beginners/false beginners must enroll at the start dates indicated on the first page of the brochure. Classes take place in the morning or the afternoon subject to the school s availability. We do our best to respect preferences for a morning or afternoon timetable however we cannot guarantee a particular timetable. School Holidays: Sampere Schools will be closed on National and Local Holidays (except for One-to-One courses) and no compensation, price reduction, refund, credit, additional lessons, or extension of the course will be given for lessons or days when the school is closed because of holidays printed in our brochure and price list. Fees: The course and accommodation fees should be received by Estudio Sampere not later than two weeks before the start date of the course. Course and accommodation fees are calculated in complete weeks. Any part of a course week is counted as a full week, and 3 extra days or more of home-stay/student room are counted as a full week. No compensation, price reduction, refund, credit, additional lessons or extension of the course will be given for either services/ lessons included in the fees and not used or late entry, absence, or early departure from a course without formal cancellation. Cancellation, Postponement or Curtailment of a Course: An enrollment may be cancelled, free of charge, provided that written notice is received not less than 2 weeks before the start date of the course. For cancellations received less than 2 weeks before the start date, the first week is non-refundable. An enrollment may be postponed, free of charge, provided that written notice is received not less than 4 days before the start date. Estudio Sampere may levy some charges to cover costs due to last minute postponement. Acceptance of enrollment is made on the understanding that the student will remain for the duration of the course as specified in the enrollment. In the event of a student leaving before the end of the agreed period, the course may be curtailed or cancelled, free of charge, provided that written notice is received by Estudio Sampere not less than 2 weeks before the new end date of the course. If no notice or insufficient notice is given, course fees must be paid for a minimum of 2 weeks. Enrollment fee is non refundable.
