3 PROFILE BIANCOSTUDIO is a MILAN based group of architects, designers, operating within the fields of architecture, interior design, urbanism research and development. It' a flexible and young office that count on a network of consultants like engineers and specialists The two partners and founders of the office are Giorgio and Maurizio Burragato brothers,both architects. BIANCOSTUDIO's architecture emerges out of a careful analysis of how contemporary life constantly evolves and changes. Our research methods and ability to listen ensure deep understanding of the challenges and context our s face. This enables us to deliver their goals. Our approach is pragmatic and visionary at the same time. We like to work on different scales, and each project is a challenge that test the effects of and the balance of programmatic mixtures social, economic and ecological outcome. Our work is recognized for its depth of thought, clarity of purpose, boldness of vision and impact. The office, has been involved in projects in different countries especially in China and Kazakhstan and is currently involved in a new project in Qatar. OFFICE Our Milan office is located the Sempione - Arco della Pace area, a prominent historic district of Milan /3

4 PEOPLE Giorgio Burragato, born in Indianapolis (USA) in 1966, is the senior partner and general manager of the office. Giorgio has a 360 degree experience. After graduating in Politecnico di Milano,he started in the 1994 as consultant of architecture and engineering companies operating in the real estate. In he is involved in public projects for schools, sport centers and urban projects. From 1997 to 2002 he works in the design and interior design field for boutiques and shops in Russia. In 2003 Giorgio win the competition for a new public library in Biella (Italy) receiving his own first important commission. In 2005 he receive other commissions for the new police station in Pioltello (Italy) and for the unification of the cemetery of Limito and Pioltello (Italy).He win several competition for public buildings and urban spaces. In recent years he is certified cened as green building expert. Maurizio Burragato, born in Rome (Italy) in 1978, is the lead architect of the office. Maurizio,have built his experience as architect and interior designer, collaborating from 2003 to 2009 with several well known architecture firms from Milan. These collaborations brings him to work on several high level projects around the world. During these years he start to collaborate as architect leader with Caruso-Torricella architetti on museums, cultural expositions, office buildings, in Argentina, Mexico,Canada and USA improving his international skill. In 2008 Maurizio spend 9 month following hotels and housing projects between China and Kazakhstan. Maurizio is now a professor in Accademia del Lusso in the interior design course and makes lectures in Politecnico di Milano and Ordine degli Architetti di Milano. In 2009 Maurizio and Giorgio found BIANCOSTUDIO. The office counts on the collaboration of a team that includes 1 secretary 2 architects project leaders and 5 junior architects. In the design process, BIANCOSTUDIO is used to employ a tested network of engineers, landscape designers, lighiting designer,and other specialists : REALIZATIONS The first commission is a consultancy for Stefano Boeri Architetti in the Ex Arsenal La Maddalena project a nautical pole of sqm. The office take care of the constructive phase of the Sea Pavillion. The same year the office is awarded with the 2nd place in the competition for the new public library Gessate (Italy) and complete the interior design project for the new Ichino-Brugnatelli lawyers offices in Milan.In 2010 BIANCOSTUDIO win a selection with the installation Chasseur d' ombre for the Festival de Archictures Vives exhibition in Montpellier (France). The installation is exposed for one week and receive 3000 visitors. In 2011 is complete the new police station of Pioltello (Italy) building a project started by Giorgio in 2005.In the same year we project a sustainable refurbishment for a housing complex of 300 apartment in Milan. In 2012 the office has interior design projects for apartments,and offices in Milan with a small d interior design project the meditation room that have several publications on webzines.now we are involved again with Stefano Boeri Architetti in the concept phase for the Iconic Area of the New Port Project of Qatar /4
