2 Chatham~Savannah Counter Narcotics Team Monthly Report October 2007 SIGNIFICANT EVENTS 1. On October 1, 2007, Major Investigations responded to an incoming call complaint at CNT. As a result, agents received consent to search a residence located at 321 Keller Road, Savannah, GA. This resulted in the agents seizing marijuana, packaging materials and a mature marijuana plant. One subject was arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana. 2. On October 2, 2007, Major Investigations seized approximately four (4) pounds of marijuana from 1409B Barnard Street, Savannah, GA. 3. On October 4, 2007, after a lengthy investigation involving the sale of marijuana, LSD and various prescription medications, agents of Tactical Team 2 executed a search warrant at 22 E. 37 th Street Savannah, GA. As a result of this investigation and subsequent search, one individual was arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of LSD, and Felony Resisting Arrest. 4. On October 10, 2007, Tactical Team One and Major Investigations executed a search warrant at 2210 Delesseps Avenue. As a result, agents seized ecstasy, marijuana, crack cocaine and approximately $6,000 in cash. 5. On October 16, 2007, while conducting a joint investigation with the Effingham County Sheriff s Department, agents of Tactical Team One executed a search warrant at 201 Quacco Road, Lot 53. As a result of this search, approximately one half pound of marijuana and one Tech-9 semi-automatic pistol were seized. The occupant of this residence was not present during the search and warrants are on file for his arrest. 5. On October 19, 2007, Major Investigations executed a search warrant at 828 W. 44 th Street, Savannah, GA after a series of controlled purchases and surveillance. As a result, agents seized marijuana packaged for distribution, a variety of digital drug weighing scales, packaging materials, and a.410 shotgun. One subject was arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute who was also on probation for the same offense. 6. On October 26, 2007, Major Investigations responded to a call for assistance from Metro Police involving the seizure of a large quantity of marijuana from a vehicle at Skidaway Road and Malibou Circle. The juvenile offender, who is on probation, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. 1
3 7. Two agents of the CNT received their Instructor Training certificates during this reporting period.
