1 CURRICULUM SUMMARY French (KS3, KS4 and KS5) YEAR 7 Bonjour: To introduce oneself and introduce family members J habite ici et chez moi: To describe where you live and describe your house Les animaux: To describe pets and give opinions Des Fetes et festivals: To talk about festivals ad clothes Qu est ce que tu fais?: To talk about your hobbies and the weather Investigate a French speaking region/ country End of Unit level marked assessment (skills tested: Listening/Reading/Writing) Setting exam Encourage students to use the different websites mentioned in class to practise the vocabulary and grammar Have short basic conversations in French at home Ensure students are equipped with pens, glue sticks and rulers. Help students plan their revision timetable effectively as they will be given two weeks notice prior to the setting exam.
