2 Halloween Lunch Box Jokes These jokes tickle my gears! HALLOWEEN PACK Instructions: 1. Print out these jokes and add them to your child s lunch box for a funny surprise!

4 Treat Bag Name Tags NO! NO! NO! Candy for you! Just kidding! Instructions: Print out tags on paper or cardstock. Cut out the tags, punch a hole at the side. Fill a treat bag with Halloween treats. Tie on the tag with string or ribbon!

5 Bat Puppet & Truck Cuffs A flying Jack-Bat puppet? Noooo Problem! HALLOWEEN PACK Instructions: 1. Colour and cut out Jack-Bat. (TIP: For a stronger puppet, glue the page to a thin piece of cardboard before cutting out). Glue a craft stick to the back of the puppet. This will be the handle to make your Jack-bat fly! 2. For more fun, add cuffs to your child s wrists! Cut out the cuffs below. Wrap around your child s wrists and mark for sizing. You can tape or glue the ends together. If you glue, give the cuff time to dry so it stays together securely.

7 Halloween Headband Wear this headband for pedal to the metal fun! Materials: Red construction paper for headband Glue Stick Tape Scissors Optional: thin cardboard such as a cereal box for a more durable headband Instructions: 1. Print the next page and cut along the dotted lines. For a sturdier headband, glue the pages to thin cardboard before cutting out. 2. For the headband, Cut two 2 inch strips of construction paper. Tape or glue two ends together to make one long piece, then wrap around your child s head to mark where to tape or glue to make a fitting headband. 3. Glue the front of the truck to the front of the headband 4. Glue two wheels to each side of the headband.

12 Magical Monster Slime Recipe HALLOWEEN PACK This monster slime is tons of fun for little hands! Materials: 1 teaspoon Borax powder 1 ½ cup water divided ½ cup Elmer s glue (clear or white) Food colouring (avoid blue food colouring) Glitter (the ingredient that makes it magical!)

13 Pumpkin Tunnel Race This gets my cement spinning! Materials: Printed Halloween race track pieces Sticky tape Two carved pumpkins (must have open mouths) Small toy cars Instructions: 1. Print out two copies of the Halloween track pieces. Cut out the pieces. Tape two pieces together for each track. 2. Place two carved pumpkins side by side on the ground. 3. Place each track on the floor leading into the mouth of each pumpkin. 3. Have children race their cars down the track with one push. The car that comes closest to, or goes in the pumpkin mouth wins! TIP: You can also use a toy golf ball and club and putt the ball into the pumpkin mouth!

15 Green Goblin Milkshake Recipe HALLOWEEN PACK Maybe this recipe will help with my squeaky wheels! Ingredients: 1 frozen large banana 1 teaspoon chocolate chips 1/8 teaspoon to 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract 2/3 cup to 1 cup milk of your choice 2 drops green food colouring Optional: 1/4 cup frozen spinach (if you use the spinach, don t use the green food colouring) Directions: Put all ingrdients in a blender and blend until smooth!

16 Cotton Swab Painting I really dig painting! Materials: Cotton Swabs Various colour of paint, poured out onto small paper plates for easy access Instructions: 1. Print out the cotton swab painting templates. 2. Allow your child to dip the swabs into the paint and enjoy painting Note: This activity helps your child develop pre-writing skills and hand-eye coordination.
