2 4 th Grade Fast Fact Instructional Focus Aug Review 0s, 1s, 5s, and 10s Sep Review 2s, 3s, 4s, and 11s Oct Review 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, and 12s MCPS Fast Facts: 4 th Grade In the school year rs will be expected to master multiplication and division facts. Each month students will be asked to focus on particular fact families and will be expected to fluently demonstrate mastery of these facts by the end of that month on Fast Fact Assessments. During the first 9 weeks of school, students will be asked to review the basic multiplication facts from 3 rd grade. During the second and third 9 week grading periods, the students will focus on division facts. In the fourth 9 week grading period students will be challenged with mixed facts containing both multiplication and division facts combined. Fast Fact Assessments will have 30 multiplication problems during the first 9 weeks; 25 division problems during the second and third 9 weeks; and 20 mixed facts during the last 9 weeks.
