President Christine Clavin read the Open Public Meetings Act statement. F-2 Motion to approve the two attached Bills Lists for the month of October 2009 in the amount of $1,007, as reviewed with the Superintendent. F-3 Motion to approve and accept the Treasurer of School Monies Financial Reports for the month of September F-4 Motion to approve and accept the Board Secretary s Monthly Financial Reports for the month of September We hereby certify, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A: (c)3, that as of the date of the Board Secretary s Monthly Financial Reports, no budgetary line item account has encumbrances and expenditures which in total exceed the line item appropriation in violation of 6A: (a). F-5 Motion to approve Application-for-Payment #4, in the amount of $32,500.00, as certified by ARMM Associates, to Jersey Roofing for the roof replacement project. Background: this will leave $20,000 for Project Closeout costs and a retainage amount of $49, F-6 Motion to approve the annual membership in the Association For Supervision and Curriculum Development at a cost of $ per year for the CSA. P-1 Motion to approve the substitutes listed below to be placed on our substitute calling list for the 2009/2010 school year. All other information in contract remains the same. Background: This correction is needed due to the late resignation of Mrs. Koppenaal. P-3 Motion to approve Angela Kelliher, a student at William Paterson University, as a student teacher in the area of Art. Mrs. Kornak will be the cooperating teacher for the period of March through May P-4 Motion to approve an extension of a leave of absence for Kimberly Bennett, Grade 6 Teacher, from her original date of January 2010 to an expected return of September 2010, in accordance with negotiated HTEA contract. 5 Motion to approve the submission of the New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum. Copy for review is on file. C/P-4 Motion to approve the Hardyston School District School Emergency Operations Plan and Crisis Management Plan. Revisions to the existing plan include personnel changes. A copy is on file at each school. C/P-5 Motion to approve an increase for student S1522 to attend Building Blocks Preschool from previously approved 3 days per week to 5 days per week from November 9, 2009 through June 10, 2010, at a total cost of $ per month. 7 FACILITIES/OPERATIONS Gregg Hoffmann, Chairperson F/O-1 Motion to approve the following roadways as hazardous routes for the school district. Hazardous routes denote those routes for reasons of traffic flow, line of sight, lack of sidewalks or shoulders, etc. that would make courtesy bussing (transportation for students living less than two miles from the school) a necessity. New Jersey State Highway Route 94 New Jersey State Highway Route 23 Hardyston Township Roadway known as Wheatsworth Road F/O-2 Motion to approve the use of the Elementary and Middle Schools as American Red Cross shelters for the 2009/2010 school year. Every year these sites have been approved by the Board and an agreement signed with the Red Cross.
