Backhoe: Standard JCB Plus pattern control is logical as well as easy to both learn and operate. Optional ISO Plus pattern controls. Stabilizer levers are easy to operate and are positioned between the primary backhoe controls. LIGHTING AND ELECTRICS 12 volt direct electric starting with 40 amp alternator and standard thermostart aid. Heavy duty harness with secured sealed connectors for protection against both water and dust ingress. The connectors conform to IP69 standards. Standard battery 26 amp hour low maintenance. Ignition and working lights control switches mounted on the central control panel. Also incorporated in the central control panel are the hour meter and warning light cluster which includes a warning buzzer to draw operator s attention to malfunction. TRANSMISSION Hydrostatic transmission, giving zero to maximum travel speed, both forward and reverse at full power. Operated by a simple two pedal system the speed of the machine is governed by how far the pedal is pressed. The transmission also acts as the primary braking system. 5 BRAKES The JCB hydrostatic transmission provides the primary braking service, which is engaged simply by releasing either drive pedal. An independent rear axle mounted disk and calliper type parking brake, operated by an automotive style lever to the left of the operator seat, acts as secondary braking service. STEERING Full power hydrostatic system utilizing the fixed displacement pump via a steering priority valve. In the event of engine failure, emergency steering is maintained.
