1 ABOUT US Il GIO.MAT is a leading transport company, based both in Treviso and Vicenza, providing national and international LTL (less than truckload) and direct FTL full truckload services, in line with the highest quality standards. Our company also performs logistics services, organizing the loading and downloading of the trucks, as well as the picking and warehousing facilities. Treviso s branch, that is also the administrative headquarter, is taking care of the national and international LTL (groupage) and the organization of the cargos. Vicenza s branch manages a fully owned fleet of trucks, logistics & warehousing facilities, and the external workforce. In order to be able to offer all kind of transport services, we are able to offer a different selection of trucks, ranging in size and load capacity, from the small van to the two/tree axes tractor unit and tautliner,. Our warehouse in Vicenza is approximately 3,000 square meters in total, 2,000 of which sheltered while 1,000 outdoor, it is based in a strategic area at 500 meters from Vicenza west motorway exit, equipped with loading ramps, high security storage areas with perimeter alarm and surveillance camera. Over the past two years, thanks to all the efforts our employees have put and to the trust our customers have placed on us, we have been able to develop and strengthen our presence in Italy as well as abroad. Three are the main project which, in chronological order, have been achieved: 1 Developing a partnership with Idea Logistica soc. Coop., specialized in warehousing facilities, allow us to timely manage our warehouses with highly professional and flexible workers. 2 Our partnership with SPEDIT, a company based in Slovenia, which is specialized in full truck load international transport, allow us an higher availability of transport throughout all Europe. 3 The acquisition of Transport CLDT in GIO.MAT has lead to a new entity improving its operational capacity, and its financial and economic strength.
